Need some help! I've heard people say you can get rid of some of the factory ring tones, pictures etc... how do you do this? Any help is appreciated.

Motorolas have some of the worst and non-user friendly phones outhere,but....they are some of the most beautiful too.

It´s an awesome phone! You know, people usually like using their phones for somethings that they will NEVER do. For example, if you want to take the best pics of your life, buy a Camera! If you want to rec your life, buy a DVCAM! If you want to listen to your mp3 songs, buy an iPod! Cell phones weren´t made to it, but they do it quite good, for those who LIKE it. The most amazing thing in this phone is that it doesn´t open if you don´t want to. It´s awesome! And the part of dialing the numbers, It´s kind of hard in the begginin, but you get used to it. The phone is awesome, but just like my friend above said: don´t put it in your pocket full of keys, or play football with the mobile. It wasn´t made for it. That´s all for now. Be good!

it's also possible to answer a call just opening a flip.

I love this phone! I purchased the orange one. I had the Razr V3x before this phone and didn't like it at all. The Razr software was very "buggy" and slow. I like the PEBL much better. The call quality seems better and it's much smaller.

Listen, why are people always saying
"the phone breaks on me in a week"?
Simple response, cause you dont take care of it. Answer these questions. How many times have you dropped it, how many times do you put it in your pockets with your keys next to them so you could scratch the phone, do you have fun using it as a football?
I just got the phone a few days ago. You cannot judge a phone by only having it for a few weeks. Like everything else that is mechanical, it breaks down in time. So the only real question about this phone is does it last, and nobody has been able to answer it. Why? Because they dont give it a chance.
I agree that a basic phone like this one costing over 300$ canadian is a little on the expensive side, but I still bought it for its simplicity and its looks. So far i'm very happy with what i got. I dont need my phone to have extensive memory for music, I have my ipod for that. I dont need my phone to morph into a leperchaun or do flips.
All in all, good phone, user friendly, the flat buttons was a little odd at first but you get the hang of it really fast. The auto flip is really cool. The only thing i didnt enjoy so far about the whole phone package was that crappy ear peice they give you. I had one for my old V400, complete peice of ****. Buy the LG ear peice or just go with bluetooth, I rather have the ear peice, alot cheaper.

This phone is really cute...but that's about it. It is VERY hard to dial numbers, and like someone else said, texting is out of the question. I had it for 3 days and have already returned it.

i hate this phone i've only had it for a day and its already broke the cameraa lens smashed and the screen has blacked out please dont buy it trust

I had the same problem to install my PEBL. my computer was telling me that it could not detect my mobile deive, and that it did not past windows logo testing.i decided to try it on my friends computer and it installed without complications the only difference in my attempt was that my computer did not prompt me to restart. i did so after it i completed the regfistration and when iturned on my PC ans click the application it ask to enter the device profile. i did so and it worked

I llllllllove it!! I had the samsung knockoff of the RAZR before, and this is a vast improvement. It works better, looks better, and is easier to use. it's an awesome phone. get one now!

You have to update your software (Mobile Phone Tools). I had a V3 and MPT didn't detect it, so I updated MPT and it worked well. Miguel, Lima - Peru

I have Mobile Phone Tools, but it doesn't detect my PEBL U6, then i have to use it as a GSM Generic that doesn't give me access to Multimedia center where i could find File Manager, Melody, etc...

Great phone: uber design, solid, long battery life. Small correction to specs: mine stores last 60 dialed and 60 received+missed calls.

to guy who said "two to three songs can be stored" and other low-level humanoids who argued with 5mb free space..
I'll give you an advice:
DO NOT ever try to use your poor brains for rating such famous devices as a mobile phones!!! :0
5mb is extremly enought for 5-10 mp3 ringtones and some vitally important java apps(OM, IM clients..) + if you make an effort you can delete 3-4mb of factory rubbish(skins, ringtones).. all you have to do si just flash your phone with MP.. and you'll get it))
