i'm using q9h..and having a slight problem with java apps..overall is good, for average smartphone and good durability too,i think..

I have a problem with my Q9H. However, keyboard backlight is NOT working. Only pressing Home key, a key with the house, will light up the keyboard, but after releasing it, it turns off. I tried to edit the registry, and even turn off Smart Backlight, but it doesn't work. I reflashed it to Windows Mobile 6.5; any ideas to solve my problem? million thanks!

kingloo, windows mobile is configured to run on lower clock speeds, so even motorola mpx200 can run windows 6.5! it has 133 mhz proccesor, so on 325 mhz processor it will work!

i was upgrade to WM 6.1 and i got more responsive operating and more stable. i want to try to upgrade to WM6.5, it's good or not?, any review about WM 6.5 in this Q9 ? TX

sharks, 10 Nov 2010mine is without GPS, cos it is not global version, i alread... moreMake sure you install http://www.smartphone-freeware.com/download-microsoft-gpsid.html and set it according to what the picture is showing you,and you are done.You may want to download any gps software,like google maps (m.google.com),install it,under settings select (use gps),it will not work in a house unless you go outside,with no obstruction at all,or in a window.Google maps will start seekin gps sattelites,when it finds it will show you xtaly,where ur location is,when u start moving,the,pointer moves with you.However the phone needs data to load maps.(note:YOUR LOCATION CHANGES FROM A DOT TO A POINTER WHEN SATTELITES ARE FOUND)(ZOOMIN :1,3)

edFahmi, 16 Nov 2010my moto q9h can't run java application ! how to solve it!It can,just google search for both jbed and jblend,and install em,however my Q9h at&t branded it runs on winmo 6.1,it runs and installs java apps automatically without much hasle,i dont know wats making urs unable to run java.Want JAVA?? make a point of installing em!! OK!!

mine is without GPS, cos it is not global version, i already installed and tried vgps to track my location via cellular triangulation, but it seems the apps isn't functioning on my phone, could anyone recommend me other apps dat have similar function?.thanksss...
