Motorola Q 9h - User opinions and reviews

Hi, I've been using this phone for almost 2 years now, and I love it.
Those who are having battery problems, do the following:
1. Switch off blue-tooth.
2. Kill all unused applications (Using the task manager).
3. Configure email using POP3/SMTP, and check emails only when really need to.

By following that, I have my Q9h working for 2 days with several calls a day, texting and some FaceBooking.
I only recharge every other night. And only if it starts beeping for low battery.

With that in mind, when I configured Outlook with Push Mail for my work's email for testing, battery life degraded. Completely discharged in about 6 hours. That's when I removed the configuration for push mail.

Couldn't make GPS work yet, but only because I haven't spend the time on that. But if you google it, you can see many ppl have made it work.

Can this phone be charged by simply connecting to standard (100/500mA) USB port? Alternatively can it charged by connecting to a USB battery charger port (1.5A)? If neither does the wall plug charger do anything non standard to start the charging?

Hi Guys,

This is for all you guys who have trouble with the battery life on this phone. If you have a credit card or have a friend flying from the US I would suggest you to buy an extended battery for the Motorola Q9 A.k.a Q9h.

Now extended batteries are of two time the 1300mAh and super extended battery with 2200mAh that is available for this phone.

Note: The 2200mAh battery sticks out of the back of the phone and you might have to buy the battery along with the customized back cover as well.

with in one year of puchase iam facing many problems,
ex:1)mp3 r not played properly.
2) key pad is not working for 5 to 6 hrs. per day this mproblem may occur any time.
and many . plz help me out,
and the mai problem no service center available in nagpur. if some one reads this complaint plz call me 09970287287,

Motorola never disappoints when it comes to the looks department!!I mean this is a QWERTY keypad phone but it has got killer looks!1 Motorola are the kings.

I have used the phone for abt a month now and the battery has always given me problems. it goes out after a short period even if you dont have the browser on!!!!!! it sometimes switches its self off then on!! why? or is it a manufactures problem?

I am using this phone since last 2 years for business purpose mainly checking MS-outlook mails.
It is simply fantastic ! It may surpass many many blackberry models I can say. Excellent blend of technology and looks.
