i have this phone for 2 weeks now and the only downside that i am seeing is that it shows a memory low after installing lots of apps from android market..not sure if this is because android phones only allowed apps to saved in the phone memory that's why i now got this message notification.
So far I am liking this phone..it is really nice for a first time android user..love its motoblur...

Andy, 28 May 2011my WiFi dosent see any available network to connect so off... moreWell if the wifi signal is a WEP or WPA signal it will be detected by the phone. The phone doesnot detect WPA-Enterprise signals. Its an android flaw. Rooting the phone would solve the problem.

Some things to note:
• 256 MB may be the listed memory, but it's actually lower than that. In fact even with the RAM cleared of your largest programs, you'll be lucky to have 90MB floating memory for an app.
• while the max official Android version is 2.1 (US only), stable custom ROMs have come out that go up to 2.3.3.

my WiFi dosent see any available network to connect
so officially my Moto has no WiFi option!!!
any one knows the solution?

i am having serious difficulty to use the camera from the time i bought it. any time i try using the camera, a meesage pops up telling me of a camera initialization failure and that i should restart the phone. i always do it but appears the problem still persist.

There is an Unofficial update for Android 2.3 Please Google Search. Quench 2.3 update. Minor problems like Motoblur removed after update.

The upgrade to Eclair 2.1 in the US has fallen through. It was officially cancelled and announced by Motorola a staggering 10 months later; February 3, 2011.
