The model sports a 1270 mAh Li-Pol battery. In real life (30-40 minutes of talktime, 10-15 SMS and the active Gmail account with automatic check and delivery of mail) our sample worked for one day and a half. With less intensity you can get around 2-3 days, which is good for any Android phone.

maybe great phone than others in its class, unfortunately no radio!

I am thinking of this handset Quench xt5 is on sale at Dick Smiths outright for only AU $ 299 therefore i am trying to choose between this and the Optimus one P500 as this unit is on sale at Allphones outright for AU $ 329 i realize that the LG is running Android 2.2 and the Moto is only 2.1 but i am not familiar with internet activities as an MP3 player and good speaker is to my liking also the Moto has the Gorilla glass and this may also be an advantage over the Optimus, i am nearly 60 so games and social activities are not required by me, any feedback would be appreciated plz.

Hi iam govind. My opinian is morolola xt5 is very good phone from LG optimuse one. And go for Motorola

This phone comes with entry level specs but a trackball beats all other budget smartphones but its ram , OS and processor are a bit eclipsed by optimus one which has 512 ram, 2.2 froyo (also lg promised to update it to gingerbread 2.3), and optimus 1 has an ARM processor which is better than qualcomm.
Motorola beats optimus 1 in terms of camera and trackball .
So if your priority is other than performance then choose moto else go with optimus 1 as it is cheaper and better
P.S. : optimus 1 too has a-gps

Dear friends
Anyone knows when and how we can update androit on this mobile ? I bought it a few days ago and it looks good till now, but seems the motorola website is far away from what SE and Nokia offer to their customers. No upgrade tools or backup software online.....or I can not find the place to be on the web. some people here advised me the developer site, but this is not really where I am looking for. I want to find the site where you can connect your phone and some tools looking for upgrade applications on it . I think it should exist and I hope it does. can someone help me here ?

This phone is a variant of the Z71 devices, Cyanogen has releases a froyo mod for this phone,

I can't believe it, among all comments here, not a single soul asked about froyo upgrade for this phone or whether the touch screen is multitouch or not
