Actually the screen have 2.0". The V9 have 2.2"

good things
-Very Slim
-Interface much better than older motos
-Internet Browser is good

Bad Things
-Camera is not good at all
-Have to charge erveyday on medium use
-Has now FM Radio

Remember: Motorola Razr 2 V8, V9 & V9M is iconic phone.

Is not bad things. That's because you un-lucky, that's why you don't get good battery. I don't need charge everyday. Standby for 4 1/2 days. Normal use for 3 hours listen music use Bluetooth A2DP, 10 until 20 Messages and 10 until 20 minutes calls with full setting (active all talking phone, full brightness, full sound volume) just lost 1 bar of 3 bar battery metres.

Is that all Nokia Mobile have FM Radio? I don't think so.

Yup... I use ebuddy to connect Yahoo Messenger and MSN Messenger / Live Messenger. Is really smooth. Standby can hold 4 1/2 days (until 3 bars of battery metres empty). Normal using 3 hours listen musics using A2DP Bluetooth, 10 until 20 SMS, and 10 until 20 minutes calls just lost 1 bar of 3 bars of battery metres.

I don't said "Motorola Razr 2 V8" SMS Capacity only 120 Messages. I mean more than 120 Messages. My "Motorola V3 Razr" with 10 Mb internal memory can hold 100 Messages. So i think "Motorola Razr 2 V8" if with maximum internal memory 512 Mb can hold more than 1,000 Messages. And more internal memory capacity 2 Gb can hold more than 2,000 Messages.

I am currently using w810i.Would u suggest me switching to V8?I use my cell basically for calls(1-2Hrs daily),messaging,mobile web acess(EDGE) and sometimes use it as a camera.
Hows the operational speed of V8(i mean are there any lags while going through the menus,v3i was painfully slow as compared to my w810i) and whats the sms inbox capacity,my w810 can hold upto 120msgs at a time :( ...
I likes the design of razr series very much.....

The sms inbox capacity depend your internal memory. I think, Motorola Razr 2 V8 can hold up to 120 Messages. I has "Motorola V3 Razr with internal memory 10 Mb" can hold up to 100 Messages. "Motorola Razr 2 V8 Camera Results" is much better than "Sony Ericsson W810i".

"Motorola Razr 2 V8" never have external memory slot. Only "Motorola Razr 2 V9" and "Motorola Razr 2 V9M" has external memory slot (support 2 Gb memory card). That's mean "Motorola Razr 2 V8 with 2 Gb internal memory" is same like "Motorola Razr 2 V9 with 2 external memory card".

You can find "Motorola Razr 2 V8 with 2 Gb internal memory" in USA or "e b a y . c o m".

i hate moto before, bcos not user friendly enough
then i used nokia and se
but when i saw e2 with the linux system
it changed my view to the moto
i bought an e2
and right now also bought v8 2gb
actually it can install program called MPKG which usually free that custom made by linux user
i have benifited a lot when i using the e2
and bcos v8 using the linux java as well
i know they will be much more mpkg program that suits with v8
considering v8 have longer life span and much more famous than the e2
why not nokia? bulky and the sounds worst then se
why not se? not much improvement currently compare with last yr...

?

actually i adore v8 better but the things which made me not buying it, is because the colour. i love the colour of v9 !!

Motorola Indonesia is really suck.
Motoroa Razr 2 V9 maybe around next year 2008 or nothing.
Motorola Razr 2 V8 and V9 have other colors soon.
Motorola Razr 2 V8 is thinnest then other "Motorola Razr 2".

i bought this phone recently.

why?

1) killer looks. its sexxxxyyy.

2)makes me look more sexyyyyy. lolz

3) ok seriously the design is awesome.

4) slim like razr. fits in my suit,pockets, jeans etc.

5) no use of cheap plastics, i hate those its all metal high quality.

6) basic phone functions really work nicely.
call clarity is awesome. network pickup great etc.

7) its unique from those nokia's and erricsons.

8) sick and tired of candy bar phones sliders.!!

9)its a pleasure to hold it. it feels you have something valuable.(no cheap plastics lol)

10)and yeah its talks lolz. it really does. lot of voice command functions are there.

it reads my email messages out loud. now which phone does that. i cant remember any other.

overall awesome package. stop thinking go out there and get your self a RAZR 2 !!!
