What's better? the ROKR E8 or this one??? I'm confused and planning to buy one soon but I got a hold of the E8 yesterday and it's cool,plus it's a candybar =)

Motorola has always been my first choice and I must say it never lets me down. I have used their phones from last 10 yrs now and it keeps getting better everytime. The v9 is a classy and a personality phone, amazing style, legendary light weight and over all a top class engeneering. I highly recommend this phone.

Hi all,
for all V9 users. i would like to enquire on the over use of the phone. is it laggy and how is the SMS typing compared to SE? is it better or worst? (btw i use T9)

is the main menu like the v8? Or K1? On the video i saw k1 menu but i don't know if it's really like that!.... Please answer me thank you:)

Hi guys.. need some info here..for those of u who have bought the phone..how do u go about making vid conference with this phone when it only possess one camera? anyone would love to answer will be a great help cause i intend to buy this phone for my mother's birthday..please.. thanks

I never use Motorola before but the first time I see and touch this phone, I have the feeling "I have to buy this phone". Man... I just feel so gergoues when I hold this phone, but at that time the price is still expensive, so I wait when the price get cheaper. But, after I read many opinions here, I got confused if should I buy this phone or not.
Is it really the battery life is low? Does this phone have some problems like hang?

The V9 version sold in Spain is coming with an error: when you try to synchro with your PC using Motorola Phone Tools (MPC). Anytime you edit any contact in a PC (Windows XP or VISTA) and then you try to save the change in the V9 phone using MPC then an error window pops up saying it's impossible to complete the operation. No problem updating agenda or uploading pictures, aundio or video inside the phone, only with contacts.
I've read it happens the same with UK version. Any comments?

just bought the V9, loved the construction and material. however, the first week i got the phone, it starts to shut down automatically on me while i am having a conversation. After changing the faulty set for a new one, the second handset keeps on hanging on me, it freezes when i try to text message.
The staff working told me that i have to switch off my phone every night to prevent the phone from hanging/freezing, i tried, but it doesn't work. Am trying to get a refund or change back to nokia.

One thing i didnt appreciate in the motorola V9 is that I cannot retrieve a business card/s which is equally important in my daily activities

If only there was a FM radio to make the most of the excellent sound quality and big external screen. Then it would be a true multimedia handset and I would probably buy one.

momo, from my experience & in my own opinion SE walkman/music phones produce the best quality 'music sound'.... Nokia music phones are not in the same class! I personally rarely use my phone to listen to music, but nI can tell you that the V9 does play quality music sound!
If you use the V9 as a mobile phone, then this phone definately give the best sound quality!(Actually, there is no other brand in the that can compare to Motorola when we talk about conversation sound quality - not even the Nokia 8800 Arte nor the much more expensive Vertu...also made by Nokia!). So you should know how good this V9 is???!!!
Btw, I sold my 8800 Arte recently & I still have my Vertu constellation with me.
SE & Nokia phones hang quite often but not this V9...mine never even hang once & different people that I know who is using this V9 never hang either!
All I can say is that the V9 is an excellent phone & a great buy/investment!

in a nutshell.. i fell in love with this phone it looks amazing.. but i can't do without my old data (contacts, sms's.. etc.) on the old phone.. i have to sync in wutever way
n i like playing music on my phone so i dont have to carry my mp3 player with me all the time
any suggestions?
