After buying v3 several times it kept breaking down on me after just a few months of usage. I was very hesitant at buying another motorola but i decided to get the v9. I've had it for 4 months now and love it, i have had to buy a couple of back covers for it though as they keep coming off and disappearing. Highly recomend this phone. Only downside is in Australia its a telstra phone and you can't read sms messages on the outside screen =(

      @ mqfy

What Networks? Any network service providers' sim card can be utilized for this phone as long as your phone is sim unlocked or in layman's term.."Open Line"

When it's open-line, you could bring it over to any part of the world where there is mobilephone technology present, yeah baby,,:-)

      always,
      Rick

        @ VRHAM

When you were using "N" phones before then switched to Moto, initially you'll definitely be confused or bewildered where to find this & that,, about your concern, you may go menu > settings > personalize > home screen or wallpaper, so on & so forth.. it's all there, all you have to do is to use your eyes, yeah baby:-) or you may refer to your user's manual or on-line user's manual for tutorials:-)
By the way, your wallpapers can be shown up on your display into three modes: tile, center, fit-to-screen.. i think the fit-to-screen was the one you were trying to ask...:-)

        always,
        Rick

                @missy

My nephew just 2 1/2 years, weight 15 kg and height 93 cm. The fact is he don't feel huge and in his hand doesn't look huge. I don't know how small your hand so you feel pretty huge. Or you are dwarf people (small people) so you feel Motorola Razr 2 V9 is pretty huge. Hahaha....

Keypad weird? Hahaha... That's similiar like Motorola V3 Razr, Nokia N76, and more other brand copy flat keypad from Motorola V3 Razr, That's mean normal keypad.

The fact is My Motorola Razr 2 V9 for standby can 4 1/2 days until 6 days. Normal use for 3 hours non-stop hear music using Motorola Bluetooth S9, 10 until 20 messages, and 10 minutes surfing internet / 10 minutes calls; just lose 1 bar of 3 battery bars.

I saw this at the mall & I think it's pretty huge especially when you flip it open. The keypad looks kinda weird with the spaces & all. However, it does look chic on the outside especially the touch screen.

I heard the battery life of this sucks. Any truth to that?

Heating? Just warm and that's normal. I use for nearly 4 months. You must know why warm:
                    1. Because Fast Processor (500 Mhz Processor)
                    2. Thin

No worries... Motorola Battery is secure. Not like other famous brand got battery blow up and burn.

I wanted to know if you can watch videos on the external or internal screen. Are you capable of putting videos on this phone? Please let me know. AT&T Cingular version

And will there be any software updates to perform other task with the touch control buttons. Example, view missed calls and read text.

I'm on the Rogers system and I'm paying for Name & Number display, however, when someone phones me, I see only the name, and below it says "incoming voice call" instead of the number being displayed. Has anyone else run across this problem? Or this this a shortcoming of this particular phone?

                                  @ Kelly

V9 is not that laggy unlike "N" phones.. Batteries lasts quite longer when you adjust the screen's brightness to lowest;) with your bluetooth off, also..

                                  @ Vj

Conference call is network dependent my friend.. even if this phones offers it, you may ask your mobile service provider first if they have it:)
