Young people just love to listen to music wherever they are. So do I, but at certaint times I just need a break from the music, The news (on the radio) is actually not bad to listen to sometimes (even for teenies). You might think that the Motorola names are used over and over again (like StarTac or RAZR) and it does not feel new as it was created years ago (like with the Honda car example in a previous post). In this case think you need to think more BMW. Their 3-, 5- or 7-series still live, with grace.

I agree with Kai, what use is the radio when u have an MP3 player installed. Besides, they play a song over and over again all day. Plus two radio stations is playing the same song exactly the same time or after u listen to the song off of one radio station and then go to another radio station and u hear the same song that u just heard a minute ago. IMO it's better off without an radio

Hi,
I really like the look of this phone. Whats really appealing to me is that it has quand band and works in any region. I had the Nokia N80, its the worst phone I have ever had with faults and poor software, and the 3 mega pixel was nothening to boast about. Cheers

@smartguy
Lacking Fm fearure keeps poping up in forums time to time.
Could you please tell me who actually listen to FM????
Those who can afford a high end phone wont look for it, then whats the point of having so much music capabilities and huge memories???????????.
I personally feel FM is for low end models. Peace. And there are plenty of them.

@ kai
yeah, same as in indonesia here. most people are nokia minded. whatever nokia made the phone, it will be a best seller. eventhough the products is sucks. given a name nokia E90. at the first launching, the price was about $ US 1700. but people already sacrifice their self to queueing to buy this phone. can you imagine that? with $1700 you can buy much thing...
also nokia 6300 and n76. nokia 6300 have sucks battery life and n76 somehow looks like a razr copycat with a very brick and cheap design and material. and it become a best seller in their class? OMG...with a less money, you can get more,
great for nokia to do that ( i give my two thumbs up), but poor for indonesian people being fooled by nokia...

This design is VERY good. I can't believe its score is only 6.9
I mean, compared to the N76, this is a quality design.

Moto is supposed to annouce better camera phones by the year end. Recently they got a tie-up with Kodak for that. Right now they lack that expertise in my opinion.
And the person below Graeme...yeh somehow Nokia managed to create that impression, that phone means nokia and its gotta be good.
Right now I'm in India and whenever I use my samsung slider..there will be some dumb to ask me which nokia model that is..so you can imagine how things are here.

I'm going to ignore the looks. Motorolla hit a winning design with the Razr and it's served them well, and has been pointed out it's not like any of the other manufacturers are known for doing amazing things when it comes to appearances (Samsung silver sliders, Nokia candy bars, Sony Ericsson stupid joysticks). It's not a straight forward RAZR repeat anyway.
On the other hand, the specs aren't that impressive. To me it appears like Motorolla are lagging behind. Some people are putting 5MP cameras into their phones but Motorolla still lounge around with 2MP. Apart from that it all seems so standard. Where's the innovation? Where's the crazy, cool features that will make the rest of the industry think? I'm getting bored of handsets with 2MP cameras, bluetooth and expandable memory... that's what they all seem to have!

ok you bellow, the why nokia phone who have similiar design like razr (n76) have a good rate. even the body is from cheap plastic
im not a motorola or nokia or se fans. but i think there something wrong here. for who have a good eye, i think this phone deserve a better rate than much phone from other manufacture.
but clearly most of people here give a rate from who is the manufacturer. and clearly most people here are nokia minded..whatever nokia phone is always have a good rate...whatever other manufacturer phone always have a rate lower than nokia, eventhough it looks better.
but if you give a rate looking for the phone, not the manufacturer, it will be different.

No wonder why Motorola do Not expect to be profitable from Mobile device business this year.
Too afraid to try out a new design. How long one can ride on one success!!
Good features. But I would love to see them in a different design.

To Oyte...
You rate it low cos ya'll are just mad jealous it's a Motorola and not a toyphone like SE, Samsung, Nokia and the lot...
When i look at SE's i get double vision and go totally beserk... is it a k601, k610, k510, k501, k300, w800, w900, w900i... i just give up...REALLY!!!.. THEN U MOVE ON TO nOKIA... IS IT A 3310, 3301, 5510, 6110,, 1110, AND BLAH BLAH BLAH... GOSH U BORING Nokia and SE users baffle me. Now u got the N80, N95, N75, N75ME, N70, N81, opooooh mannnn... i mean talk about being non creative with a plan to confuse buyers.
Razr on the other hand...simply the razr...when u look at it u know it's of the razr lineage.. no messing about.
Cheers Moto... u rule big time.

to answer your questin oyte, the reason why we rate this phone so low is because it looks just like the one we all bought nearly 4 years ago . you think your honda from years past looks just as cool now as it did back when it was new . i didn't think so

good RAZR phone , but have to upgrade call records (incoming, outgoing, recieving) " 10 " to further more like ROKR " 20 " or KRZR-" 40 "
