It's nice and the features are okay. Good thing motorola is really trying to improve their phones. I wish the price of these phones aren't that steep.

yeah u guys r rite.those nokia fanatics just couldnt take that actually in this real world there r a phone that not just can rival but can outclassed their so called phone of the future.who needs a phone that can perform like pc if the phone is so damn lag like a snail trying 2 climb an everest.hey after all its just a phone who we use to call someone else.if they want s'thing that can do evrything then get a laptop or pda or s'thing.dont come here bragging about a phone that'll cost u a descent laptop with its price.i just want a phone that can do the basics plus other xtra features like the 3g and mp3 to go along with the phone.just some nowdays necessity that todays phone must have.doesnt need to have gps like if they want to get lost in thier own backyard!

I think Motorola phones are all really classy when it comes to looks... they are the kind of phones one would buy if one wants to be really stylish n cool. Nokia phones are workhorses, feature rich and sturdy and meant for geeks and intellectuals who want a lot from their phone but are willing to compromise on the looks. :) So let's not compare the two manufacturers!

Great looking phone. I'm very fond of the clamshell design. The only real downside I can see is the lack of wifi on this phone. I want to be able to use my handset as a modem too. HSDPA is essential which it has. Huge plus! The wifi would be nice for a quick net browse if I am without my laptop. Kind of picky, I know, but that's my two cents. Overall, nothing but love for the Moto V9.

Looks really good, the best design out there today imo. Hope the sw functionality/practicality will match the looks. A practical taskmanager / calendar is essential for me.

Can anyone tell me whether the RAZR2 models will have RECORDABLE voicedial? That will be crucial for me, as the voicedial system in the present V3i is a disaster - it doesn't recognize half the names, no matter how you pronounce them!! I really hope Moto went for the traditional system where you can record the names yourself. If so I may well buy one, as I LOVE the clamshell phones and this slim design really rocks! BUT... I MUST have a reliable voicedial to use with the BT carkit. (Holding a phone whilst driving is illegal here).

PS: my two bits re the Nokia/Moto controversy: Nokia software is very good, practical and intuitive, but the size and design falls behind. If Moto manages to make a phone this sexy with software and a menu that can match (or beat) Nokia they have a guaranteed winner... I'm certainly interested!

Yeah, i need radio. Mp3 is not enough. Others little things that i appreciate in a phone is: camera (w/flash, autofocus, optical zoom), bluetooth, miniusb2.0, wlan (g), slot sd, and so on...

sigh... yet another year... can t they publish a catalogue with the designs their planning to release within the next 10 yrs?

i love the design on this phone... even more than i loved th v3i... which i went and bought (haggled, bribed, blackmailed beat up... ) and the v3 which i was given (i still love my trusty razr >~.^< ) theses phones are nefarious, no doubt for various software glitches... which is the reason why i don t rush out and buy 1st generation phones (same as gaming systems) but alas... i have no correct way of predicting when they are going to release anothing thing of art...

to those idolistic Nokia Lovers... GET A CLUE.... IF U GOT A PROBLEM WITH MOTO DESIGN...HERE TAKE A HINT... GO LOOK AT SAMSUNG'S U600 AND 700 ... LOVELY IMMITATIONS OF THE RIZR... AND NOKIA'S CHEAP, FLIMSY ATTEMPT AT THINNESS... THE N76...

the other companies recognised motorola's (maybe i'm being too bold...) 'genius' and have joined in, but yall too busy trying too fool urselves that because motorola hasn t changed from whats been working for them, that they're scared...

hellooooo, if the world ...all 6billion humans strong ain t want it to change, why should they change it?

i'm not knocking n/e one else, every phone has its issues, i hate SE's O.S. (personally think its made for dyslexic persons, no offence, but i got accustomed to using one menu button and the end button... i have certain nokia's that i wish they had kept up... 6620 would have been world reknown if they had improved it (dang phone sturdy like an ox) and the 6820 with its hide away keyboard was beautiful ... do u ppl notice that they dropped these models when razr pushed into the market? stealing the show?

mind u, as a former owner, i find that the Razr and V600 share some very interesting traits... but the V600 was discontinued because of general displeasure worldwide ...

so before u knock motorola's tactics... figure out where u are in the 4billion + cellphone users in the world :D

Moto makes a simple fashion phones. It's really cool when it has a gold color, a silver or a black one.
The color of this phone is for woman only. If you will take a look.
I Love moto phone when it comes in phone form factor. Simply the best although i'm also a nokia lover.
