Zero, 02 Jun 2023Dimensity 8100 or even the old Snapdragon 870 are way cheap... moreHave you asked qualcomm their prices?

BlahBlah, 01 Jun 2023People tend to forget how much time is needed for the phone... moreSpeaks about Snapdragon 782G, iQOO Z7 comes with 782G btw, at least in my country. So there are actually 2 phones with Snapdragon 782G.
Fun fact: If we look at the release date, despites using an older architecture, but 782G is a newer chipset than 7 Gen 1. Also 782G has potential to be more efficient than 7 Gen 1 since 782G is manufactured by TSMC, while 7 Gen 1 is manufactured by Samsung.

According to Motorola's official website the screen aspect ratio even beats the Xperia's with 22:9.

PMKLR3m, 01 Jun 2023Is it normal that I think, that vanilla 40 is better then ultra?Well it's pretty much depends on what you think suits you the best. If you think the vanilla 40 is better than the +, I think you already got your answer. I myself would say that the vanilla 40 is not bad. It actually comes with a much larger battery abd refresh rate is still better than almost every flagship at 144hz and if the price is so much more competitive then why not.

I think this is a step in the right direction. I'm really interested in the successor to this next year. Hopefully they release it sooner, like Mar/Apr.

PMKLR3m, 01 Jun 2023Why ufs 2.2 moto? WHY?!The Xiaomi Civi 2 has the same chipset with UFS 2.2, so it's likely a chipset limitation. Sad.

PMKLR3m, 01 Jun 2023Is it normal that I think, that vanilla 40 is better then ultra? It has UFS 2.2, so I don't think so lol, but to each their own.

But honestly wouldn't you ... moreEh, I'm mostly just rambling and saying which one I would choose if I wanted a flip phone and had only 2 brands to choose from. However I don't want a flip phone, and Samsung, Motorola aren't the only 2 players anymore, so if I really wanted one, I would just buy the vivo X Flip.

kek, 01 Jun 2023lol is that a bad thing now?Did you look at the specs?

Personally I prefer vivo's Origin OS over every other OS, but to me, anything goes before One UI.

The Z Flip 5 doesn't matter here, as the regular Razr 40 is worse than even the Z Flip 4, so of course it's also worse than the upcoming Z Flip 5, however the Razr 40 Ultra likely has a bigger display than what the Z Flip 5 will have, so the Motorola will look more impressive, but be less powerful. I would still choose the Razr 40 Ultra, even over the upcoming Z Flip 5.

Why did they include such a big battery for such a small screen? Are they planning to have the phone last a week?

I mean, personally I don't like either too much, but Motorola's is just.....not for me

David 040882, 01 Jun 2023You can't be sure based only on paper specs. Wait for ... moreAt least for my use case, I am sure, since the Razr 40 Ultra has the same chipset as the Z Flip 4, similarly mediocre cameras, but a better outer screen and a better UI, since I very much dislike One UI.

However if I had to choose between the regular Razr 40 and the Z Flip 4, I would go with the Samsung because it's much more powerful and costs about the same, if not less. The 7 gen 1 isn't weak, but for this price, it isn't enough.

DarlingYext, 01 Jun 2023How so? Samsung's Z Flip 4 is a much better phone, tha... moreYou can't be sure based only on paper specs. Wait for the reviews
