Motorola Razr 50 lands in India on September 9

While the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra was launched in India last month, the 'vanilla' Razr 50 is yet to join it. That will, however, change early next month.

Motorola has just announced that it's bringing the Razr 50 to India on September 9. It will be available from Motorola itself as well as Amazon. The marketing materials which are out so far emphasize the Razr 50's "segment's largest 3.6" external display", as well as the fact that you can use Google's Gemini on it.

The Razr 50 comes with a 6.9-inch 1080x2640 inner display with 120 Hz refresh rate and 3,000-nit peak brightness, the aforementioned 3.6-inch 1056x1066 external display with 90 Hz refresh rate and 1,700-nit peak brightness, the MediaTek Dimensity 7300X SoC, 8/12GB of RAM, 256/512GB of storage, a 50 MP main camera with OIS, a 13 MP ultrawide, a 32 MP selfie snapper, and a 4,200 mAh battery with support for 30W wired and 15W wireless charging.

Is the failure rate of foldable screen less than 25% this time? Seems like it will be priced at around 70k that's too pricey considering 40 ultra is 45k

A bit late to the party... the Motorola buzz has already settled. Also the Razr 50 pro and Edge 50 Pro are both way too overpriced. I've already moved on to another brand.

Read web reviews with people saying the big screen still has poor durability and screen protector is not reliable too. Is it true? Any flip/fold phone durable enough?
