Motorola Razr 60 Ultra promo materials confirm its flagship chipset
Motorola is working on the Razr 60 Ultra, its next flagship foldable, and unlike its predecessor from last year, this one will actually use a true flagship chipset: the Snapdragon 8 Elite.
This has been confirmed today through a leak of marketing materials for the phone, including a video that names the SoC. There's also mention of Moto AI, because it's 2025 and of course there is.
The phone seems to have one colorway which is meant to imitate wood, which is a nice thing to have. There are also what seem like at least two fake leather options.
There appears to be a new hinge as well, since it's emphasized in one of the images, and of course Motorola is very proud of the phone's expansive cover display.
According to a Chinese certification, the Razr 60 Ultra will have 8/12/16/18GB of RAM, and 256GB/512GB/1TB/2TB of storage. Its foldable OLED screen measures 6.96", and the cover display is 4".
It has three 50 MP cameras, though one of them is for selfies. The battery will be 4,500 mAh in an almost identical body to its predecessor's, measuring 171.5 x 74 x 7.3 mm. It weighs 199g.

The market for flip phones isn't that large. They need more people to buy the higher end phone to make it worth their while.

People are tired of phones being the same for so long. This offers something different. It's not for everyone, but it offers more options at least
