I have had massive problems with this phone -not charging, new battery dying after 2 hrs with no talk time, won't read software, reset and lost all pictures, bottoming off network about 70% of the time. I had it replaced and the replacement is also defective - third time in for repair within and still no better. I know of 2 other people with similar problems.

I was thinking of replacing my L7i with this or the Razr2 v9 since moto phones price are dropping and I will give the L7i to my sister. So far I only like the v9 because of the new software but I HATE THE KEYPADS and battery life is bad. For the v6maxx, I think the only downside is the old software and the rubberized casing. What do you guys think?

Hey. I have locked my phone with the application lock, and forgotten the pass number. The phone doesn't let me enter my security code either, so if any1 knows how i could unlock it i would be grateful.

Hi :) i wanna know are this v6 is lag/slow in the menu or when running a java application?? Is it true the battery is bad?? And what jack used for this phone for headset, a 2.5mm jack or 3.5mm jack ?? Thx 4 replies my post :)

friend please tell does maxx v6 has option for blocking 'text' messages or 'calls' from specific senders,if so than i will instantly buy this phone,remember i am talking about text messages blocking not about mms blocking from specific sender which option is also in other motorolas

One serious gripe I have with this phone is its extremely short battery life. Other than that,it is great!

Yes! Maxx V6 can be modded. I have modded the volume table of my V6 and have now increased it!! Sound reproduction is of excellent quality!! I have edited the lighting, creating my own style. Increased the camera quality (which was already great) and now its fantastic! Converted video recording to "fine" .MP4 format with unlimited recording.. and still modding goes on ;) :d

If your phone doesnt start up anymore. 1 thing. Battery dead. Happend to me i put in different charger and next thing i knew it burned out so get a new battery if yours just start up lightly.

this is indeed a cool phone until the time comes that it would suddenly hang and be defective. you cannot power it on. it will only have a green light once connected to a USB port.
in this case, it would be a very expensive paper weight. be sure to get a warrantied item as this is fragile.

this phone is actually good. the specs are good, the look is way over the average, the performance is great. this phone is the best phone i have ever gotten myself.

Yes, it does have A2Dp profile and it works perfectly.. Why dont you master reset the phone and then try pairing it!
