Ok...V3i. For me there's pro and cons to every phone. Some phones are small, stylish, easy to carry and some are bulky and big but features pack, give you everything you need camera, mp3, radio etc. I think it's just up to what the user wants. For me, a sales manager that is always moving around visiting and meeting customers. I need a phone that is slim, stylish, presentable, professional looking and functions like camera, video recorder, sound recorder just to use it sometimes. Main criteria "easy to carry". I carry too much things in my pocket..car keys, house keys, wallet, my cigarretes, lighter, and 2 phones. My other phone is the equally slim Motorola L7. I don't want a phone that is huge and bulky which make my pocket swollen. So the V3i is perfect for me. Hell, i can even slip it in my front pocket without looking weird.
But then, if i'm a college student, i will choose phones like SE w800i because as a college student i would like to have a cool, funky phone which has great mp3 player, camera and all the extra stuff that i can stuff in the phone. For yuor info, i too own a SE W800i but i gave it to my little sister who's still in college. It's perfect for her. I dont want to carry a colorful, funky looking phone to meet the directors or managers of multinational companies that doesn't reflects the serious business i'm in. And it's too bulky for my pockets. So really, just buy the phone that suits you....don't care what other people says or own. In the end, it's your money, and it's your taste and it's you that is using it. Cheers.

Nice style phone but poor features 8 bit nintendo screen menu, poor below average 1.23 megapixel camera, only a maximum of 58 second video recordering what are motorola thinking? No wonder this phone has come down in price to only £30 more than the original v3

I bought this phone a week ago, manufacture date May 2006, made in Singapore, so it came with all the upgrades.

I have had Nokia N90, O2 xdaIIs etc.

This phone is excellent, I dont have a single complaint, and for the record given the comments made here earlier, the battery lasts as long any phone I have had.

                    My frank opinion?

The ONLY 2 things worth mentioning abt the RAZR V3i is its anodized aluminum case & 13.9mm thickness.

The rest of its features SUX big time.

                    - 24 channels poly = obsolete technology
                    - 1.23mp camera = obsolete technology
                    - no infrared

I find it easier and faster to remove the memory card from the phone and use my card reader in my PC to Add/change my tunes/ pics ect.

You can use Goldwave to edit your audio files. You can make your own ringtones with it. You and convert other formats to MP3 and you can also change the bitrate. This is great software for editing audio. As for as where to get your music there are plenty out there napster, Itunes, Warez p2p, Limewire and others.

You can install java apps in this phone from your computer. You need a flex/seem editor to enable java loading first. Then you can install your app. And yes you can answer this phone when closed with a bluetooth or the USB headset. You cant use bluetooth to listen to music. With the usb headset the music will stop and let you answer your call and will start back up when your call is finished,

Got this phone online At Ibuydigital.com
It has Itunes with a 50 song limit. Dont get this phone for the Itunes. I downloaded and installed Motorola digital audio play and now I realy love this phone it can play all of my songs on my 1GIG memory card and I can use the winamp interface to manage my songs. It is alot better and faster than Itunes. I an told you can get the v3I without Itunes which I highly recommend and install MDAP.

Does Razr V3i support MS office files or is there a software that I need to load specifically for accessing MS office files on the phone? If yes, where can i find the software? Would appreciate a prompt answer. TC

                                        Hi all,
I just got this phone the other day, and my first impressions are good. I love the small size, and it is fairly easy to use. I have transferred mp3s to the phone to use as ringtones and they work well, but is it possible to transfer java games onto the phone from your pc, and if so can someone please email me and tell me how to do it. Also, I tryed transfering a game onto the phone using the file transfer in the pc software, and it said it copyed to the phone, but I can't find it on the phone anywhere. Does anyone know where it is saved, if it even copyed to the phone, and how I could delete it so it's not wasting memory?
                                        Thanks for your help!
                                        Shane.
