I just purchased my v3i and I'm loving it. I have one question though. I want to used the mp3s i downloaded as ringtones. can someone tell me how I can do that. thanks in advance. you can e-mail me at joftongson@yahoo.com.

This phone is the worst phone yet in quality!
this phone is nice and all, good camera, bluetooth, but the buttons curved in a few weeks or months if your more of a texter then a caller. the screen also scratches alot, which makes the whole phone look bad. the phone is so thin, it tends to snap. so if you like the looks, go ahead and buy it. but this phone is the worst phone in quality

It's a great phone.. and moto is the best vendor for the best quality finished phone.. i only got one problem with the phone. since i'm a mac user, i need to transfer the sms from the phone to my computer, the only thing is that i can't save the long sms.. but thats from the software not the phone.. anyway the phone is 99% great..

I bought V3i because of its slim and sexy look (Score:9/10). Functions are rather limited if compared to other brands and models (S:4/10). 1.3mpxls camera isnt that bad (S:6/10) and sound quality ok (S: 6.5/10). Battery ok, would last for 3 days of standby time and moderate use (S:7/10). Lather casing that comes with the set is a BoNUS!! that complement the sexy look. My overall rating: 7/10.

motorola E1070 is better than this one...it's the same price but with E1070 u got 3G, u can play the video full screen..

please some body help me that i am having the same phone with the lens of 1.3mp, but the picture quality is totally low. please somebody tell me that is this problem with the all the phones.

Just got a v3im upgraded from the v3x, its better although it doesnt have a 2mp camera or 3g but i dont use either but on mine their is a voice record option unlike on the v3x. plus this looks so much better aswell is being a lot smaller. Very happy with it awesome phone.

Can we set different ringtones for normal ringing & messages under categories? At the moment all the names under my specific category uses the same ringtone whether it's a call or message : P Thanks....

its wonderful, battery time is amazing, like it works for 3 days with nights on, nice camera quality and most of all it looks cute in ur hand. so far its been my best pick after experiencing I-mate JAM, 7610, 6600, and motorola A925

hello everyone
well i wanted to enquire about this phone's camera and its music player
first of all i would like to know about its mp3 or music player....does it have as good sound quality as a sony ericsson k700i(i am using it these days)
and second of all...i havent herad any promising comments about its 1.23MP camera.is it really that bad.?
should i buy it or get a sony ericsson w550i

hey man, i took this super sexy cell dayback,and i must say this is really one super cool set that i have used till date.but hey must tell all you would be buyers that take this set if you can keep it super super secure.i mean to say that this is all aluminium,it is ofcourse much strong than plastic but then hey man ull get a good scratch even if u drop it anything from a distance of 10 cms, but if you are super rich than there's no problem.functions are rich but it takes pretty good time ,even to see where these all are hidden.in MY opinion this is a super cool set n can be taken if care can be taken cause evry little surface invites scratches,my phones having a dent in just a single day.think bout it guys.take care

Hi, I bout my v3i about 2 weeks ago. I got realy disappointed. The most bad thing about it is its battery it doesnt work even for 2 days(i switch it off at nights) another thing that kills me is the poor camera pic quality. Can anyone help me how can i listen to my mp3 while the flip is close.

Can this phone support 1GB and 2GB Flash cards for putting multimedia and music on? That would make or break me buying the phone.

Come on Motorola. Give to the V3i, V3x, L7 series the option of FM-Radio. Give the option for an FM-Radio Handsfree and even better Bluetooth FM Radio. THIS IS A MAJOR ISSUE and Motorola looses 10% of sales in this market due to lack of FM Radio.
