good looks but not practical. bad ergonomics...bad reception...unreliable (screen died. power died) interface is not user friendly. regretted trading in my nokia 7610 for this phone :(

Ok I figured out about the Itunes software and about how many songs you can store. Before you buy the phone you should check the "About" section of the itunes. I have found out that depending on what version of Itunes you have determines songs. It says it in the "About" section ie... 50/50 or 100/100.
As far as assigning a tone to your messaging... the way that works is if you assign an mp3 ringtone to that person when they send a text message it will also play that mp3 ringtone....
Great little phone! Well worth the money..

I just bought a V3i, but without the itunes. does anybody have an idea how to install iTunes on a V3i? Pleeeease.

can anyone give some idea with the itunes installed and the motorola mp3 player installed? how to differentiate between both of them if we want to buy ? is there any physical different? price different?
or if i buy the motorola mp3 player installed, is there any way i can change / upgrade to itunes mp3 player? thanks alot

I have been using this phone for two month now. What a great toy, i-pod is great, construction is supurb. a Well packaged toy. Just got a Jabra headset and they just work so well.

is it that this fone cannt open folders like for... photos. meaning all photos mus be under pic first then only can put in to category. wat i mean is that its jus lke a mp3 whereby u mus hav a library wif all songs mixed up...can it be like nokia whereby u can open as many folders as you want ?

This phone is amazing... at first I thought it would be a problem due to all the prior comments. However, I have learned that it has to do with who ever sets up your phone. I live in CA USA and I have had no problems. It lets you make your own ringtones. You can have more than 50 itunes... I'm up to 75 and still adding. You just have to make sure you have the right size memory card... I have the 512mb getting ready to buy the 1gig. The photos are pretty good but not the best. But like someone else said it's a phone and the photos are still good enough to capture the moment if you need too. I have no problem going on the intrenet either. I was able to text, mms with no probs here in the US too. If you have the "Motorola Phone Tools" cd that comes with the phone connecting to your phone via computer is a snap and the programs on that cd let you do whatever you need too! The only problem I did have was buying ringtones from cingular, but who needs them I made my own and they sound way better!! Not trying to be a snob but this phone is practically perfect in every way. It is a MUST BUY for those of us who love flip phones... Enjoy :)

-to assign the mp3 as ringtone is very simple, just go to multimedia...sounds...mp3 title...option...apply as (just choose ringing tone). but if you want to assign it as other tone [like message etc] you've to go to setting...ringing type...personalization...

Good phone...i just bougth it today.....it got respectable in walkman mode with headphones...much lower than ipod(but Respectable), almost eqal to Sony erricson w550i walkman phone(but bass is little less effective).....camera is just for fun utility...i havent tested in open sunlight but in room it is below ok.....although video recording is...you can say it is ok.........but all mater nothing compares to its super styling.....another thing is that its bluetooth is slow in comparison to nokia or sony erricson sets.
