the battery life of this phone is not that good and this phone can't install theme..is it true? i want to buy a phone.any suggestion?give me some comments please.

To s (or something): Well you said that some phone has a VGA camera and our screens are also VGA. I have no idea where you got a VGA size screen, since VGA is 640x480 (0,3 mpx) which best fits a 13 inch screen, and most of computer users use at least 17 inches (so 1.3 mpx fits our screens...

hi
one year completed using nokia 6600 . i just bought v3i for my gf . and i still have 6600 . some of the plus point i found in nokia 6600 are :
1 . You can find our too many 3rd party software , games , wallpaper , themes and much more .
2. you can listen to mp3 songs also there are may 3rd party software avaiable . best mp3 player i like is winamp.
3. you can have mp3 ringtone also there is some utility avaiable on net find it out in google .
4 you can listen to raido also using GPRS . there is also Hand Free Radio Kit avaiable in market .
5 . you can run multiple application in 6600 .
disadvantages of 6600
1. it slowes down if u use 1 GB card . Or if u install any themes
2. camera is little poor but it VGA . remeber our computer screen is also VGA
Now V3i advantages
1. it slim and have great looks
2. it never hang .
3 . it can supporrt 1 gb mmc
4. camera quality is very good and zooming is good
some disadvantages :
1. you donot get much java based software , games
2 you can not install themes
3 . you can not minimizg your application . you can run your application one by one

tanya: u are not gona be able to save ur msgs in th memory card. u can only save pix, tones and videos and i think contacts as well..i know it sux coz i have to delete my msgs almost every day....

yes u can put up to 2 gig in the fone...but i think initially it comes with 512 mb, micri sd.

the phone doesnt come with any other accesory apart from the charger and the mini sd memory, i think lemuel is mistaking the v3x with this phone..i got one as well and i didnt get anything with it, u can buy a usb cable but u have to download a software to go with it or u can buy the software before u can use the usb coz the pc will ask u to install a driver before it can recognise the fone.

hey diddy;
you might have bought an incomplete set of your phone. A brand new set includes the cd installer; ear piece ; usb cable; charger and manuals. you might have bought an imitation or reconstructed phone. im not concluding ok? just telling possibilities. =,)

hey i got this phone, i love it and all but i cant use a usb cable to connect to the pc...every time i try a message pops up prompting me to install the sofware that came with the phone..but i didnt get one. does anyone else have this problem? and do uz know where i can get the software? i rang up motorolla and they told me i had to buy one.

Great phone for any Motorola lover! I just don't think Motorola have a great GUI layout like Nokia and Sony Ericsson have. Apart from this the phone is loaded with great 'must have' features and is considerally cheap.

ACCORDING 2 ME DA PHONE IS FLAWLESS except for da lacking in FM feature...tats it...nd if u load i-tunes properly da fone wont give ne problems..nd da music will play even da flip is closed....nd as far as da incomin call is concerned wile with handsfree...YES.u wnt hear da ringtone in da handsfree..bt still u can guess with a pause in music player that u have a call r a message otherwise da phone is kool...even comparable with sony's walkmans as it 2 have a good sound clearity..(far more better than nokia...tats for sure..)

@ george peter....the phone only has 710 mAh which is very very poor for a device with a megapixel cam and if its intended to be a music player.....other phones such as krzr and razr maxx also have the same battery life
compare this to 1100mAh for nokia N73...its close to double.
Moto needs to get their batteries sorted
