When you send a message and the message is being sent, a window will come out with a an hour glass. If the window closes and no other window appears, then the message has been sent. If there's a problem with the sending, another window will come out with an "X" icon meaning there's a failure in sending the message. The best part there is that the phone will automatically re-send the unsent message. A feature that most phones do not have. So, if ever the message has not been sent at that moment, it will surely be sent out as soon as the signal becaomes ok.

Please help! I just bought the V3i, unlocked and unbranded, only to find out its the non-US i-Tunes version. I'm using Cingular, however, I'm not able to access the browser, I get error message "Network Not Available". I called Cingular and they text me the web settings, which I installed, but still not working. I was advised to call Motorola, which I did, and they told me since the phone is non-US, it will not be covered under warranty and I won't be able to use Cingular's browser, since its originally manufactured for an European carrier. Can you please tell me if there is a way to update the software to work in the US, other wise the phone is pretty useless. Thanks in advance!

i had this phone a month ago, and at this moment i have no any problem using v3i. its not true that this phone is not user friendly one.. actually it is. you just have to use your common sense. the camera was good and the quality of pictures are awesome. this is a great phone. ultimately stylish.. just wondering, can i apply the itunes here? this is an itunes compatible ayt?

Is there anybody who can tell me how to add multiple numbers (for example mobile numbers, office number, home number) AND email address to 1 contact?
I just can't find it :(
In my siemens it was so very easy and here it doesn't seem to be possible at all :((

Gina .. this depends on a lot of factors including the SIM Card and the network itself. Go to the SMS settings and activate your delivery report (if you see that option)

I really need some help here..
You know some phones have a feature where they give a notification after an sms has been sent?
For example: I sent an sms to my friend and my previous phone will notify me if my sms has been successfully delivered to the recipient or not..
I am just wondering, does the v3i phone have this feature? If it does, how can I turn it on?

I had a V3 for a year and decided to upgrade to a Samsung D830, what a mistake I hated it with a passion and decided to return it after one day. But I'd already given my son my V3. I'm going to get a deep violet V3i, looks very stylish. Hope I get it soon!! Oh how I miss my Motorola :-( Hope I can count on all you wonderful people if I have any problems with it.

My wife got one and indeed this phone is really KAPUT***not a user-friendly like NOKIA.

dis phone is great i got dis phone last week and so good.
the pros
the design is sleek and handy,
it has good sound quality nice picture if you know the settings
nice desktop.
cons
small internal memory
navigation problem not easy navigate around the menus alongside wit nokia
in the end its all good phone .

What video format does v3i support?

Its quite a nice & decent phone. But its not so user friendly. The designers of the softwares havent made the options as integrated as Nokia phones though. Cannot expect much of this phone other than if you just want to use it as a basic phone. But extremely stylish & it feels really good to be holding it to talk.

Rich, The line 1 and 2 stands for the two simcards. you can put 2 sim cards in the V3i, and you can choose which one you want to use.

Excellent Phone
Differences between v3i and v3: It has a much better camera, nicer stock skins and backgrounds and ringtones to choose from, has Itunes, records video, takes micro-sd cards and lastly and most importantly looks much better. However, the inner part of the phone feels quite plastic particularly when compared to the quartz cover. Still much nicer than the v3 which is a fantastic phone also

I have been recently informed that if the model I buy is made in Japan it will last longer is overall a better phone. Does anyone have an opinion on this? Im a first time moto buyer so please help!! Or if you think I should get it from somewhere else, do let me know. Many thanks :)

The memory card is put adjacent to the battery through opening back cover. Can u tell me what is meaning of Line1 and Line2 in the phone?

Hello everyone!
I kept on trying to make my bluetooth work but it can't find any other devices. I turn it on and yet it doesn't get to recognized other devices and other phones can't also find me. I don't know if it's broken or what. Anyone please help me if someone there knows how to get the bluetooth working... in finding other devices and other devices in finding my phone.
