Honestly, DO NOT MISJUDGE this phones just because it looks like the old razr and has not so great multimedia features!!! Motorola has completely revamped the RAZR. This thing has a DRM-9 processor instead of the old much slower DRM-7, and also powered by awesome nvidia geforce 4 series graphics processor!!!! The LCD has by doubling the resolution from the previous version. The processor has been sped up by leaps and bounds. Its incredibly fast now. Now your downloads will not take long at all with the improvements to the wireless modem. It is now approximately 60 times faster. Overall reception has increased as well.
Not only has it received upgrades to the hardware, but the software too. The address book and music player have both been replaced with much better ones. Also there is a complete Web Browser now. This thing has it all. Well almost, there is one downfall. The camera didn’t receive an upgrade at all - its a very generic type (avg quality) 1.3 mpz cam, but if u use some photshop, and dont plan to shoot at night, this'd be enough for u!
overall one of the BEST folding phones around, please highly consider performance!

Does anyone know if you can use normal headphones for the music player or (which I am assuming) do you need a motorola specific headset?

Hey im trying to decide wether to buy the LG KU800 or the MOTOROLA RAZR V3XX and im kinda having trouble on deciding which one to pick. Can You still watch Tv on the V3XX? just wondering because if you can then i might get the V3XX. because ive read that the LG KU800's touch sensitive buttons dont work sometimes and that the screen goes white sometimes aswell so im having trouble deciding ... can you please HELP ME !!?

i have this Phone is by far the best phone i have ever had used Phonetools to load ringers. i have it on Cingular, now AT&T. it have never lost signal yet even in areas where my sisters V220 goes outta service. and the video and web is very fast.

FM radio is just too complicated for Motorola to design in. Look for it in the 2010 model year and AM/FM is on the horizon in 2020 to 2025! Motorola has not have any engineers that are smart enough to figure out F.M. yet! A.M. is even more complicated and so they have a learning curve. I guess they could buy a $5.00 A.M./F.M. radio and reverse engineer it but that takes time and so there we are!

SE and Nokia suck like mad... cheapo'z.
U can use MP3's greater than 30 secs... what happens is the max divert time set for voice mail is 30secs... so even when u have a 10min song set as ringtone... it will only play for 30secs b4 going to vmail thats all.
Sharon... check ur Ringtone and Voicenotes folders when in Media Finder if ur unable to find it in music. Sometimes tunes we have go into the various folders depending on their type... i once BT'd a whistle tone from a friend...looked for it 2 days in a row but could not find... happened to be trying out the Voicenotes feature once and low and behold... there it was just chillin whistling to itself.

To Sharon, my understanding you can only use a song as a ringtone if it's 30 or less sec in duration.

I successfully transferred MP3s to my RAZRV3xx via Bluetooth. How can I set one of those MP3s as my ringtone? They don't show up in the list when I hit "detail" and "music." Note that I have transferred the desired song from my SD card to the phone. I don't understand why this won't work.

Doublexx to delete the outbox messages in one go, what u would to do, is go in messages, press the menu button, the scroll to outbox, it should ask to delect all messages. Select it, it should delete all messages in your outbox.

Hi, to all moto users.
To gain some cool and wicked skins for your phone (i'm currently using the iphone skin, wickedly cool), visit the website www.modmymoto.com. From there u can obtain all your upgrading and modification needs to make u phone much faster than it's stock software. In the download section, you would find skins, select the skins for the model handset. But you would have to download the skins manager (Skiman) software which would also be found in downloads in the software section. Any Q's? Holla.
