V3xx, i love this phone especially the sounds...it's awesome using the bluetooth stereo headphone too. no wires...see. i have no doubt this is my first pick. i recommend this phone to all music lovers but hates wires all over their body. i have this phone over a month now and a week ago i bought a bluetooth stereo headset for my laptop and to my surprise it works with the moto v3xx.

I'm not a big fan of the razr, but local electronics store was going out of business, and they were discounting 40% w/o contract Cingular labled versions of this phone. I am pleasently suprised, loud, keypad is fast, very solid and the hsdpa works great with tethering. For what I paid, it is well worth it, and a light back up when I don't feel like trucking my Treo 750 around.

BIG BUG WITH THIS PHONE. So i personally got the phone and to my surprice i went through 2 different handsets and they would all crash in my hands. Out of the blue the phone will just restart i would get the white screen and it would do it over and over it seems to be every 3 minutes or so. Cingular tech and moto have no idea why this is or what could of cause the issue. I played around with it cause i just couldn't belive what was going on. I chosed to remove my transflash memory card out of the phone and NO MORE CRASHING... i was like uhm that's odd as i plug it back in BAM! the phone crashed.... and it did the same auto crash every 3mins... ITS THE MEMORY CARDS! But here is where it gets interesting... my card is from my last SLIVR L7 which i later used in my LG CU500 and it worked wonderfully in both phones... until this phone came into the picture. I took all the stuff out of the card, reformated the card and put everything back into it and it worked great.... so i really don't know hwats going on it seems to be a FOLDER issues as in if you have extra folders in the card the phone will not like it and it will bug out, also i noticed that i had a WMV file which is unplayable in these phone i know but i had it in my card for storage purpuses, well this phone didn't like it either, note that my previous phoens dint' care they just didn't read the content but this moto v3xx even after i reformated and the card was working fine i added teh wmv file again just to store it and guess what... the phone bugged out it crashed over and over, i removed it and it was fine... so note that this is a very unstable moto OS, and an update must be demanded from motorola, as far as the phone after you get over issues like this, is a great phone, its what the razr should of been from the begining, its LOUD, fast, and it has a nice heft to it, but it does try to be a little denty some times and you must do to it what it likes or ur F#$%^ed :-)

LOVE this phone! The only thing I have an issue with is it seems to take longer to navigate to places I'm using to being able to get to really fast. But overall, excellent. Sound is great!!

                Ferrero

REgarding ur question i would think that the razr maxx V6 is better. I owned 1 and i like the touch sensitive buttons outside. Its only S$368 with 2 yr singtel plan. V3xx is similar to V6 maxx except it doesnt not have a 2mpx camera and touch sensitive keys. Its the same otherwise. In terms of looks both are hot, but i prefer MAXX. The choice is urs dude

Go for the Maxx if u have more bucks to spend, if not this phone is good

This phone rocks, its beautiful, super fast, amazing screen, battery holds up to one week with frequent everyday use, what more do you need? i've had it since january no lock-ups, no freezes, and its always on! even with crap java games, or non compatible java games, the phone just doesnt lock up!

I have the V3xx and bought my son a Samsung Sync. I have the better looking phone, but the Sync is superior for multimedia. The V3xx only plays video formatted to about half the screen resolution whereas the Sync will play 320 x 240, even if its a 30fps file. The Sync has a 2 MP camera, and external music player controls to boot. I'm keeping the V3xx because it is gorgeous, but I hope the Maxx will address these shortcomings if Motorola hopes to keep the Razr rolling.
