Anonymous, 03 Aug 2012What's the latest version of android this phone can upgrade to?There is a ICS update rolling in some countries already, and some others needs to wait a little but is suposed you will receive it this year. check in motorola website to see when you will receive it according to your area.

Battery is a bit low but ma... moreMAXX's battey does fit in standard RAZR, but you need new rear cover, SIM/SDHC lid and a frame where the rear cover is attached. If I remember correctly, that new frame will also fit the standard back cover etc, so one can switch back more easily, or between maxx and slim once done.

any one know why in ics the keys in down of phone is not work?it means it doesn t have light?
so what people can work with most of phone in night and dark place?
huawei p1 have this problem too!the key dont have light!!!!

I just bought this for my wife. Battery is a bit low but maybe needs a few charges to get it going and see its real durability. Its nice to know you can remove the battery. I would be interested in finding out if the razr maxx batter would fit inside. that would be excellent.

Remove cover by the camera, unscrew the screw underneath and the back cover can be removed, giving you access to change the battery.
Obviously not something one would do daily, using two batteries, and swapping. In this case an external power bank is better - if necessary based on use. But when the battery gets old and worn out, it can be replaced without having to bring it to a servicecentre after warranty is expired.

P1 is a plasticky phone which is also thicker and has a more dim and worse calibrated screen.
+ the Moto comes with Webtop, Smart actions and MotoCast :)
