Why my RAZR only show 8gb i... moreThe Razr comes with 16GHz internal memory altogether which was divided as follows:-
8GB for internal storage
and 4GB for Media storage & 4GB for Applcation storage
Total=16 GB.
You can check by going to settings--- storage.

My device needs to be unlocked, its not accepting my sim network... im a nigerian, and i got the device from uk, and the line its locked to is o2. the sim unlocking code is currently not in nigeria, due to the device is new.. so i need ur assistants on how to get my device unlock, becos i cant wait to start using my device. thanks

Got my Razr two weeks back. Let me start it as:
1. Mouth Watering Sexy piece. I fell in love with it, after holding it for the first time.
2. Looks and build quality is superb. Such a lean and sexy piece is a definitely Go & Grab piece.
3. Don't just go for the looks, it has got the specs and features also.
4. Calls are pretty awesome to handle. I am kinda very busy with official meeting calls to attend on daily basis. My Razr gives me pretty good backup.
5. Processing speed is very good. Usage of Wifi and downloads from Android Market, is more than satisfactory.
6. Battery backup is a big question in most of the smart phones. As everyone would have noticed that display is the most battery consumable stuff. With the out of the box setting, my Razr gave me 1 and half days of Battery support. I then decreased the brightness, and it was like for a complete 2 days that it gave me backup, even after a normal usage of Calls, music, bluetooth tranfers and wifi.
7. Wifi and games definitely consumes battery, but Razr, gives a good performance.
8. One most important thing, even after keeping the brightness to the minimal level, you wouldn't feel anything lacking, instead, the display quality, still feels to be crystal clear, that's what makes it more adorable.
9. Camera is just good, not superb. Video chatting and all was good, with no lags.
Its not easy to operate Razr with one hand, but soon I will be good at it. If there is a will, there is a way :).....Hope all the Droid Razr fans would like it........

The newly announced RAZR MAXX has a very large battery (a whopping 3300mAh), it will be available in not too long in the US, hopfully it will come to Europe as well. If not, it's always possible to order it unlocked from the us as it's a global phone.
The camera may not be it's best feature, but after the firmware update I love using my camera. I even used it last night in low-light and the photos taken were great! Even without flash - or especially without flash, hehe.
I think most reviewers online would be more content with the camera, had they tested the phone after it had received it's fw-update.

That will assure u with good quality photos. Razr's camera is not the best available in the market. Colours are not as vibrant as I would like it to be.
Razr has the Smart Action which I find it does help to extend the battery life if u programme it correctly. U just need to give it a try & calibrate it accordingly to your usage pattern. A day of about 12-15hrs normal usage is not a problem. However, it really depends how u use it & especially, if u surf the net often, the quality of the reception.

The higher resolution of the Advcance makes all the difference in the world. With such a big screen, a lousy 800x480 just don't cut it.
Oh, and guess what? SII and RAZR has pretty much exactly the same medium and full brightness level as well as identical contrast level. The color balance of the RAZR is better.
Overall? RAZR's screen outperform the SII, and so does just about any IPS qHD panel.

Best phone I ever had, got mine just before christmas, I have had all the HTC's and my mate with his latest Samsung says he is on the lookout for this Razr as it whoops the Samsung 6 love, when the Razr Maxx comes out I will get that too. This is the best phone of 2011, hands down. AND its going to take alot in 2012 to trump it. Just my 2 cents from a proud RAZR owner

hi. bought my razr xt910 about 2 weeks back. my previous phone was a galaxy ace. it was working fine and i just needed an upgrade. had sgs2 , sg note in my mind ( already my family members are using them) . then came across RAZR. everybody was against my decision in buying the RAZR. Few people even asked me whether motorola makes such phones !!. my wife was totally against my decision ( she said don't waste money !).
but i am really satisfied with the phone's performance. it is a brilliantly engineered phone. the battery lasted for about 12 hours on the first 2 days of use. but i was always on my phone , browsing and watching videos on 3G network. now i have switched to 2G and decided to use 3G only when its needed. my battery now lasts for more than a day . Recieved a software update 2 days back ( INDIA ) and there are a few changes now . Camera quality has defenitely improved now. more options in smart actions application. smart actions really makes a lot of difference to the battery usage. The call quality of this phone is amazing ( Far better than SgS2 which my cousin owns).
if you are thinking about buying this phone, go ahead.
you will stand out in crowd. defenitely worth buying.

But Samsung is the only company producing Super AMOLED without pentile matrix (according to someone else) . So Motorola RAZR's screen is still better than most of the screens other than those from Samsung.

I own a Nexus S & a GS2 Bomb is something my bro has. We went to the shop as I had a feeling that this phone is better than GS2(being released almost 8 months later) so I'll exchange my Nexus S & will buy this one. The moment I took the phone in my hand(having Nexus S & GS2 at the same table ) I was astonished, totally !! this phone can only compete with my Nexus S in terms of performance not GS2. The screen is very Dim like Sony bloody displays,the speed of the processor is nowhere near GS2 camera is same,music has a better quality than Samsung,browsing is slower than GS2,price is marginally high in India(around 50$ US ). Galaxy S2 is a much better choice in the market.

this is the next device i am planning to buy but the question is, i am kinda hesitant in getting the unit coz its battery is built-in so if in case i would have battery issues if i go to a moto business ctr here in the Philippines will they even be able to fix the battery or replace it? i've had desire s and 9900 black version but sold the 2 devices to buy iPhone 4s and that has a built-in battery as well but no issues with it up until now and the only reason why i wanna change it is because its boring! i don't wanna jailbreak my unit coz i'm on a 2 year contract or else i might loose the warranty. i also learned that this sexy beast is a 4G phone while 4S isn't but i have to admit, 4S has the best camera but i don't care, i could always bring my digicam or borrow my sister's DSLR if i want fantastic photos. i wanna buy this unit but can someone answer my battery question? please help! i want this badly and i'll get back the 9900 but this time with a white version. ^_^
