TOTALY agree with you, and ye if you want have a little sneak peak at the future of cellphones and mobile technology just look at Japan and see that we are becoming more like them and our cellphones are like the center of our lives.
About Symbian,its a great OS, unfortunetly Symbian s60 and UIQ os9.1 has been pretty unstable but os9.2 is great,it offers a lot more stability and functionality with more ram and less battery consumption.

Music phones these days can put out music just as efficiently as iPod's or other music players. The only downside is storage, but that'll be sorted out in a few months (think of the N95 8GB etc.)
Mobile camera's are becoming better and better. Of course they won't ever beat your Canon EOS. They are not meant to.
Digital Photography however has evolved to new heights ever since! People are documenting their lives like never before, literally every minute of their lives!

It's definitely eye-catching, I just don't know about Symbian OS. I used to own an N73 and it was horribly slow and crashed a lot.
I'd rather have WM6 or something the like. At least Windows Media Player is decent compared to the default symbian players around. Sure, hardware matters too.

thats where motorola is only good at...the design aspects. but if were going to talk about whats inside..the core..definitely motorola has a lot of catching up to do...say compared to nokia...and sony ericsson..and samsung..and LG..and so on and so forth...

There are also problems with an "all-in-one" device. You see, phones today are very expensive so there are a lot of people are desperately trying to acquire one...and one of the ways is by stealing. If your phone's unlucky enough to get snatched or stolen, then it's bye bye for your GPS, camera, music player, computer, etc.
Also, even the best phones slated for music, camera, etc. are outmatched by their counterparts. So if you still want to get the best features, then go get another brand. If you just want a basic phone with style, then get this.

Dude but thats the point of making a phone the ultimate accessory, having each component valid..a good music player...gps so i dont need another devise...and style not like an big gps or another ipod with your phone
by the way the phone looks alright but motor's are deceiving

Tech's 2 years old, huh? Fyi, Motorola has been focusing on the physical aspects of the phone; it believes that the features are secondary. What's more, the cellphone is originally intended for calling and texting and the others are only complementary. What's the use of a 5 megapixel cam fone when you have a professional camera which certainly has better sensors and better lens? So what if I have GPS and 3G when I already know my way around my neighborhood and I already have a laptop with broadband internet with me? What's the use of a music phone when I have the iPod?????? Come on people, cellphones cannot compare with the real cameras, computers and music players!!!

Boff! the specs are two years old in terms of technology! Old video QVGA 30fps video recording! Small 2.2 inches screen...I'm not impressed at all! They should have build a 5MP VGA 30fps video recording + GPS to be more in competition with the best one!

i think u guys all get wrong,this site is not for you ppl to blame each other,isn't that posting rules already mention that no foul english in this ite,and u ppl already againts the rules,pls be ware that u ppl will be sue by motorola then.each phone will have their own avantage and disavantage,so no need to waisting ur time on argue with this kind of thing.for me rizr z10 is just of one sucessor of z8 an i believed it's will be an greatest phone when in market later.
