I just got the motorola rizr z3 I must say outstanding. Ive been reading about people having trouble with the "Time" I dont have any problems..My last phone was the t-mobile dash. Im glade I got this. To anyone thing about buying it I give it 5stars!

You do not have to worry about the quality of the Mp3 in Z3 phone. I tried it personnaly and with the stereo head set or even with the stereo bouetooth head set it gives a cristal clear music and of couse its really really good.
YOu can rep music in Mp3 format and can load it to the Trans Flash card so that you can listen to them when you feel like do so.

When I had the Z3 in my hand for the first time I was really happy cause it is such a stylish phone. Crafted with anodized aluminium and wrapped with skin feeling material which makes a very good grip. Will not slip from the hand like the other plastic housings. By going through the revies I found couple of questions from couple of peoples. Thous I tried to send them mails it didn't work out. Here are some answers for some highlighted questions.
1). How to Sync with Computer......... You have to use the MPT tools (Mobile Phone Tools) Software sync with the computer. Hopefully you can get this downloaded from the Motorola web site. (a)This support you to back up your phone numbers to the computer for later restorations in case you loose the data. (b) You can down load all the pictures you took from the phone to computer. (c) You can access web and the phone we act as a modem. (d) You can do lot more things these are just highlighted ones.
(2).Regarding the Phone Driver for Windows XP
You have to Install the MPT tools software and it will install all the necessory drivers for windows XP
(3). No Chinese Language in the phone.
Probably you must have pick up the different software version which doesn't have the Chinese Language. You have to take the phone to a Authorized Service Dealer and tthey will flash the phone which support the Chinese Language.
(4)Answer for Chriso's question
Nokia holds only 160 as you said. But Motorola can handled lot more than that. What you have to do is Install MPT Tools software in your computer and keep Sync with the phone and the computer. There is a option where you can download all the messages to the comuter. So you have a backup as well.

To display time and also date and autotime change problem. you have to download a small fix and then update that. email at sales@sntradersonline.com and will send u the info back

Please could somebody tell me how many texts the z3 holds. I've just upgraded from a nokia which held 160 txts. When i transferred the sim card over the z3 showed that i only had 19 txts. That's madness. What can i do?

hi! i am thinking about buying thE RIZR Z3. but i just want to find out a few things.(1) does the mp3 music sound clear and good. (2)When you put in the headphone do u still hear music on the phone or through the headphone?(3)can you rip cd's and put the music on u the phone? (4) does it have a stopwatch?

question, i dont have the search function to search name in the phonebook n sms... if i wish to call jim, i need to scroll down from a til j!!?? it's doesnt make any sense. sometime the voice function may not work while u at noisy environment. do you guys have similiar problem? how to resolve?? many thanks

This phone is the best phone ever, only problem is that when youre typing the contacts name to search for it, the keypad reacts slow, i bought this phone from dubai and i have had to problems with the software or time, but i think to display the time, you have to download the latest software from the officisl website, This phone is the best phone ever, has everything and is cheap. Good job motorola!

phone is amazziiinnng!!! 2 of my friends and 1 bought 3 motorola rizrs from the same place 2 came with the same software but one had a different software, turns out there are more than 3 softwares to this phone. the software my phone has is causing me problems with the time, it keeps changing by itself, tried master reset and changing timezones but nothing works. anyone know what else i can do? i am the only one with this problem

For those of you who wants to get the time shown:
Go to motorola site for support then download the lastest software. Since the US site does not have Rizr z3 yet, you may want to use the UK motorola site.

the problem is not how to set the time, the problem is how to display the time... do you know how to display the time???

hi! why do many of u find it difficult to set date and time. its simple! go to main menu->settings->initial setup->date and time.now set the date and time here.let me know if u all got it right or not.
and can please anyone solve my problem...can anyone tell me how to display the area or location on the phone screen.like in nokia we have this option of knowing the location where we are.is it possible in this moto rizr?how?please advice.

Just got my z3 and started to learn about it. I have noticed the pic I took is kind of blurred no matter how steady my hand is. I even set the phone on a table for auto-timed capture (as to minimize hand movement). However it still comes out a little blur. Do other owners have the same problem? Any way to fix it?
