I am using z8 since last year in start i really i am very disappointed because restarting problem and shows pink screen but when i change its firmwareusing rsdlite 4 its doing great last 3 months my mobile isn't restart and running very smoothly thanks fox mod

since i handle it the Z8 unit. it is very nice. i love it than N95 or all nokia bramce. coz i handle all unit of nokia.

Z8 can only play mp4,3gp with resolution upto 240x320 only. when you play mp4 with VGA resolution (ex. videos coming from N82 coz it has VGA resolution) it WILL NOT play to your phone. This also applies to pictures with higher pixel count like 3.2mp,5mp resolution photos. It will say something like unable to open file. But you can see the thumbnails before opening it right.
Anyway, coreplayer app will solve these problems. Those of you who can't install coreplayer due to protected id or whatever error should change your firmware to modified firmware. backread to see my post regarding that.
It will give us better phone capabilities.
Now, my icons are different due to the modded firmware.

bongkiamn, 31 May 2009how can i put themes in this phone? reply asap.Enter www.onsmartphone.com,u ll find about 2000 theme for the z8 and z10.put it on ur phone and open the file with the file manager it will say install theme install it then u ll find it in themes.u can ask any question and ill try to answer

@MiR, 19 May 2009the phone is slow cause u dont close applications and thats... moreIt says corrupted video file just after I finished recording, like after I pressed the button stop, and yh I know nothing about symbian :P but still..

the only problem to me about this phone is that the installing CD is only for PC :( cmon Motorola mac is computer as well

shady, 25 May 2009sup.. ok.. i have a prob.. i dont have net on my phone.. bu... more:p u need to download that with ur computer and u need to purche moto flash rds 4.3 and i warn u it might not work and u ll lose ur phone.just use ur software and download nice app like jukebox from www.wap.getjar.com if by mobile and www.getjar.com if by computer.feel free to ask for more info.@MiR
