Motorola ROKR E1 with Apple iTunes

07 Sep, 2005

Apple and Motorola today announced the long awaited iTunes phone - Motorola ROKR E1. The new music phone looks a lot like a white version of the Motorola E398. The technical specifications are not much different too - the new phone has 262K TFT color display and that's all. The difference is in the iTunes support. - the Motorola ROKR E1 syncs to the Apple iTunes jukebox software like any iPod music player. It lets you scroll through your playlists, select a song and play it - complete with any accompanying album art. To store the songs the phone uses a microSD(TransFlash) card slot; the largest cards available currently are 512 MB, so the music fans can expect a capacity of about 100 songs.
