Marsya - I bought a Chins Mobile branded E6 when I was in China. It will have a small red logo and the word China mobile on the battery cover. The startup screen will have a China mobile wall and you will get China Mobile specific Icons like cutomer sevice a China Mobile Icon and a Montrenet Icon. It works on all 3 of South Africa'a networks without a problem and I could get 'Over the air' web configiration settings from my service provider without any problems.

Hi,
I just bought a Moto Rokr e6, in which I got a 1gb memory card free. But the Problem is that memory card is write protected. I am not able to copy files from the phone memory to that memory card.
Can any body help me to disable the write protction of memory card so that I can make us of that card fully.

alright...im just gonna be real here. a lot of my friends have been telling me taht motorala sucks and that it's very slow. im not gonna argue on that, but what i want to know is taht how is it on a "PDA" motorola phone. is it actually better?

Can any1 pls tell me if Rokr E6's user interface speed (processor) runs as fast as the Rokr Z6? Can't seem to decide on which phone to take. And in terms of sound quality, which is superior? thanx.

k im super confused...they say this phone only supports a 2g memory card....but my friend's rokr has a 4g memory card in it....so like wtf is motorola's advertisement for this phone wrong or wht? can someone who has tried both a 4g and a 2g memory card in there phone plz clarify........thanks alot

hi i'm dodon in indonesia I've been using this phone for two months now and i still find something new in it, Linux Rocks! if people say they want to use Symbian go right ahead cuz they can find lots of programs so they can upgrade their phone they are wrong. their loss!! with symbian they are just adding programs not UPGRADE it there's a big diffrence in that!!! if you say upgrade with lots of programs you will only decrease the performence of the phone but not with linux, you can modified it as you please! to maximalized the perforemance of the phone using the limited media. and if they say you cant find programs for linux based poor them they just didnt search torough enough. if you want to say something about Linux beeing poor or Other OS beeing poor please at least you have the decency to reseach on it first., or at least you know what your talking about.

Actually, there are some China Mobile versions that have EDGE enabled. In any case, EDGE and Quadband can be easily activated on the phone

The phone does support EDGE. It's just not enabled by Motorola. If you want to enable it go to freemod.net or motorolafans.com
As for excel, powerpoint, word. It does have them it has Piscal Viewer which lets you veiw Office Documents including pdf.

Hey frnds, well I'm sorry to say that one of the technical specifications mentioned on the main page says that this phone has EDGE features but unfortunately it doesn't have EDGE. I had written to Motorola and just got an email from them confirming the same. If you guys want you can also write at info.in@motorola.com to find out more.
