@Faddy:
I had the W850 and it does not have as many functions as the E6 and it is much thicker than the E6 as well. MP3 sound quality between two devices shows no difference using the high end headphones. Both speaker phones are very loud. Two advantages of the E6 over the W850 is that the E6 has 3.5mm jack headsets and it uses SD card (got my card at frys for $24.00 for 2Gig). The w850 on the other hand uses Sony adapter to use your headphones and uses Sony's home grown memory card called the M2, which is quite expensive for 2Gig. Now you can make a decision.

How's the zoom on the camera? Do you have to go to a lower resolution to have a better zoom on it?

Hello!everybody!I like ROKR E6 vey much,personally.but I dont know whether E6 can play music through loudspeakers clearly n loudly,nicely or not?can anyone who ever used this phone tell me the information about sound quality of loudspeakers?because before I used to own V3i,the sound produced from loudspeaker was too quiet that I find it very difficult to hear it in noisy street.and can anyone tell about the display of E6?Is it better or inferior to Nokia N73?Thanks in advance

Will the E6 work with those new 4GB sd cards or only with the 2GB card?

I found a review of this phone at mobileburn.com They said:
''The MOTOROKR is a capable phone all in all, however it might not be able to match up with other Smartphones on the market. The lack of third party application has hampers the platform, and the inability to edit document files might turn away some potential business users. The camera is not the best and the music keys are not the most user-friendly. The muffled voice audio from the earpiece is a let down, as is the lack of on-screen T9 that forces users to use the stylus, and hence increases the chance of losing it.''
What the owners think about this conclusion?
Thanks

that's not good to hear. i've had several overseas phones (in fact all my phones have been overseas/greymarket) and none have behaved this way. The panasonic vs3 was the only phone i had that did this. There must be a way, no? HELP!!!

The phone is not programmed to use Tmobile voicemail unfortunantly because it wasn't made for tmobile's service. the text message receive with the @_ is meant to turn on the message waiting indicator on normal tmobile phones and a second one is receive after listening to the voicemail to turn this off. the sms are free and will not charge.

so far so good. phone is meeting all my expectations but there's 1 thing that bothering the hell outta me. i'm using t-mobile in CA, USA and i've already entered the voicemail server#. but when i get voicemails, I get these annoying text messages from t-mobile reading "@" signifiing that i have a new voicemail. then another "@" after i delete it. what do i need to do to set it up correctly so the voicemail logo pops up instead? TIA. This is driving me mad!!

I have this phone for 2 weeks, I buy it out of curious, need a back up phones. I buy for the big screen for movies, too bad the movies converter software that came with it, the movies I convert it it came out cannot be played on the phone. And if you really into SMS thingy.. remeber the touch screen phone, you gonna need two hand to typing, instead of one hand with regular phone. I using T-mobile USA service, the internet good, MMS working fine, just cannot send long SMS, and one more thing. The phone not came with English manual. Chinnese only.. so far. Other than that, the phone is good and very good looking. I got it for $325 without contract. All the accessories include stereo wired headset, USB cable, US charger (wow), and a 1Gb Promotional SD card, with demo movies inside it.

@scsi_boy, there ARE stores in the USA that would sell you this phone. You just have to find them. Ask them if they carry any GSM phones, and they should be authorized dealers from T-Mobile or Cingular. So yes, you could find them in the USA. Imports =)
@GAURAV MAHAJAN, the Rokr E6 could be made into QUAD BAND already. You just have to know what you are doing to edit the SEEMs of it and whoala! You are using a QUAD BAND Rokr E6. It has been fully tested too!
@Curious, from what I see...I don't think the Z6 is better than this phone. In fact...they seem almost similiar but the look of this phone is so much more appealing.
@Faddy, in the phone whenever you want to text someone there is a keyboard that pops up that you could use your stylus to text, which is pretty fast if you have been chatting online or something. There MIGHT be a plugin for this phone...like those wireless bluetooth keyboards but who knows? I haven't tried it out yet =)
