I'm not sure if I had a bad battery but if you listen to music on the phone the battery only lasts about 2 days per charge. Texting is done on a qwerty pad that shows up on screen.

Well if ur looking at this page, and planning to buy it cause its going at a good rate, and hoping that people have said nice things, then ur wrong.
I did exactly that, and trust me i wasnt happy with the phone, even with all the commercial adverts and hype. The music is dissapointing, not very loud and always freezing. The player is utter rubbish, like one of those cheap java phones putogether in sum shack in china. The video has to be a specific fps before u play it, so u cant just paste mp4 movies. Complete crap, the notification for misscall and message is retarded. Its the same '!' mark for all notifications. Even if its a misscall or sms. The virtual keyboard is rubbish. I dont want to evn waste my time on it, its fontsize 2 or somehitng. And the extras ? what extras .. thats it. Music player, video, sms, contacts, keyboard and features are garbage. And u have to 'eject' the SD card before u take it out, otherwise everything is corrupt. I learned the hardway. I sold it after 2 months, and today im buying em25. good luck

like market places at cheap rates.
phones bought there are known to have such problems.
i am one of the first buyers of the e6,
i havent encountered any such problems.

i am one of the first buyers of E6.
and i k... morehello bro,
It plays mp4 (also know as mpeg4). Convert the video setting to : Keep the resoultion as 320 X 240, the frame rate at 15, and for the rest give the medium range.
If you don't belive try it by yourself as i suggested the setting, and refer the specification of gsmarena.com also they had mentioned E6 support mpeg4 (mp4) format.

Rokr E6 is best at its price around Rs.9000.While Nokia 5800 cost around Rs.20,000 ,its just waste of money.Nokia Express music is always one step below the MotoRokr series in terms of Music Quality.Better buy ROKR E6 or E8 and get good Head phones like creative EP 630 or EP 830,to Enjoy Excellent sound.

can anyone tell me that does it support software fro... morewow, you are comparing the rokr with the big giant nokia 5800. Well rokr too support third party application (java file only .jar ) and after some modding it will support (.pkg applications). But if you want to make a choice between 5800 and E6, then i suggest you wait for a while because 5800 is a first touch screen phone of nokia s60 series, so ofcourse there will be some bugs, let all get rectified. E6 is also best for it's price.

Fuji, 09 Feb 2009can it ply mp4??????yes it supports mp4, 3gp and rm format for videos.
But after modding your firmware you can also play .avi, .flv format also.
