I've had my MotoRokr E6 for two years now. It was a compromise between my desire to get something approaching a smartphone while keeping with Motorola because their phones are built tough. I've dropped my phone a few times on hard concrete and it still works till this day, so it is a durable design.

The touchscreen is durable too but not nearly as sensitive as capacitive touchscreens. Somehow something in my pocket has sliced through my screen protector and my touchscreen but the phone still works okay. The slice is over the "S" character of the English keyboard. Push it down with the stylus and you can feel the tip sink into the screen. Like I said it has kept on working though.

My complaints about the phone are that it isn't very intuitive to have it send pics automatically to the SD card. Worst of all is that sometimes my phone suffers from bouts of senility, it will "lose" missed calls or text messages etc. These return after a few minutes but it is frustrating when you want to communicate but can't find the contact/message/phone number you're looking for when you need it. The phone slows down sometimes when inputing text and the area you need to tap to close the keyboard and push "send" is the same. That means you can peck out your message, close the keyboard and send the message then inadvertantly send two or more "blank" messages to the same person! Not the best in design there.

My biggest peeve is that the keyboard is tiny and requires the use of the stylus. Sometimes when you're busy walking or doing other things it is a pain to fiddle with a stylus and have to peck tiny itty bitty keys on the screen. If you're a texter, think twice before getting this phone for that reason. The OCR works but still requires the use of the stylus and a steady hand to write legibly.

The sound quality for audio files/FM radio isn't the best but hey...it is a phone model that is two years old from motorola. I wouldn't expect to purchase it and be picky about that.

One last thing, and this is a positive note. The phone works everywhere that I've been in the world. Sometimes I get a signal when my friends do not and there is little to no background noises in calls. The speaker phone is good too.
