I see that there is a new firmware (which I do have on my phone) but that 2 of the shortcut buttons are locked and only 2 can be customized. Does anyone know if there is a way to unlock the 2 shortcut buttons? On my phone it is locked on video and google. I don't understand why they would limit this feature.
Any input would be appreciated (regardless-I love this phone)

I got this phone couple of months back.
Technically speaking, this is a good phone with linux OS. Camera clarity is not so great compared to other 2MP (in sunlight its good with natural saturation). Real media is somewat slow. media organising is gr8. modding is awesome. Coming to sound clarity, its gr8, in headphones u wont miss even small sounds. outer speaker is also gr8.
The only thing i dislike is battery backup. Charging will tak 2-3 hours for full charge and it lasts hardly for 2 days( normal usage). Screen clarity is awesome and sure ull enjoy it.
with modding even u can play avi videos with 300-1000bit rate...and many AV formats.
I love this phone.......:)

You can transfer full vcd after converting it in rokr and these video have superb quality than any other phone. But u have to install motoZx in ur pc

Moto ROKR E6 is my latest fone right now I bought it 2 weeks ago... tremendous phone but i having a hard time to install themes but for java application no sweat... im also having a hard time in composing text messages.. too bad...
