You can get software from www.getjar.com , www.modmymoto.com , www.motorolafans.com . You can install software like Nokia N series. Typing is much more easier than any other similar phones.

Hi All,
I purchased this mobile yesturday. But I have two queries -
1. When I open 3GP file fone throws error something like "..exceeded file parameters".
Please tell me where to set this parameter or size.
2. From which Web site I can get softwares for my mobile. What could be its extension.

moto rokr e6 has some limitataions also
like for ex-main screen wallpaper is dark ithink a layer of something black comes up.
phone freezes sometimes while video recording.
its slow operation is hectic.
apart from that sound quality is ok
if anybody knows abt how to unlock some 33 .drm song files which motorola gives with new rokr e6 phone which expires after 1 month it will appreciate

I've had the E6 for about 6 months now and i think the phone is great. As for the call waiting, mine gives me the choice to answer, ingore, or link. i've had several 3 way conference calls before.

@cavf88, who told you that it's not possible to install .pkg files????? You shouldn't comment like that without knowing this. It just need to be installed a software called MPKG installer first to install .pkg files. Then just open .pkg files with MPKG installer. That so simple.

you should flash E6 with a custom firmware to be able to install .mpkg... u can't install .pkg files cuz that's for motoming(A1200) try the .mpkg files.

when i try to play a movie on the rokr e6 it says media parameter exceeds allowed limit. neone knows fix this ?

IS it really true about the "call waiting" option, that u cant switch between two calls??

I love the phone, except for the call waiting... If i'm on the phone and someone calls, i can answer or ignore the incoming call, i'm fine with that part. However, if i answer the call, I'm not given the option to link the 2 calls together or to switch between the calls... I basically have to wait for the second caller to hang up to get back to the original call. There HAS to be something i'm missing, if not then this is a huge miss for motorola! Is there no 'conference calling' on this phone?

Myc, It's not possible to use 3G in anyway with this mobile device. Only EDGE can be enabled. I've standard type OS installed in my E6. Thanks.
