hey does anyone know if this phone has SongID---it's kinda like the service att has but for the unlocked version. I know for a fact that the T-Mobile version has it but I want to get unlocked...

when i enable bluetooth with my Jawbone, the phone recognizes it and bonds okay. However, when the phone rings, it send the ringtone to the Jawbone and not the external speaker on the phone. Does any one have this problem??

i m in india and using this fone its better than all sony and samsung fones and its the only fone to competite with nokia in the indian market .......

E8 makes my iPod Classic feels lonely now lol... I just completely forgot about ipod altogether after. The only downside of this phone is really the maximum memory it can take. That's the only why i'm still using iPod classic 80GB, altho i have to say the Fast Scroll wheel on E8 is alot better than ipod, the sound quality is richer, more dynamic and you can adjust the bass bosst unlike on the ipod, you can't adjust the bass level at all, only pre-set EQ.
So all in all, Sound quality wise: E8 > ipod. Memory wise iPod > E8.

You're lucky that this "worst mobile phone manufacturer" actually made the first ever phone. And the E8, according to tests, beats the Apple iPod in terms of sound clarity. Beat that.

i was just wondering for my unit because of it's battery standby time would only last 24 hrs. when infact ur advertizement states that will last up to 300 hrs. standby tym and 5 hrs. talking time

Motorola, in my opinion, are the worst manufacturers of handsets. Reliability is a major downfall of all their models.
The original rokr was terrible, this with more functions will likely be even worse.
Straight away other comments are questioning battery life etc.
My tip set fire to it.

phalanx, 02 Jul 2008how long is everyone getting on their battery?yeah... im having issues with it as well. all in all its really a nice phone but when it comes to its battery it kinda suck. would have to charge it every other day compared to my previous SE phone w/c could last up to 3 days.
