This phone is superbly designed in all context just one drawback is that the camera is just 2mp which can be improved and motorola can do it .Otherwise it's a very good phone and may look forward to buy this.

Motorola made 600mhz easy because it had experience with a lot of hardware stuff like computers and satellites for about 3 decades now. So it's pretty good that Moto uses its processor expertise to its phones.

WIFI is very useful for me for the following:
1) Check emails with Profimail at WIFI zone
2) Watch YouTube with emTube and save them
3) Update latest weather locations
4) Download stuffs off WIFI
...and all that for FREE!

No. I think Nokia still owns the crown in terms of processors speed. Bear in mind that the N95 got dual ARM 11 processors each at 332 mhz clock rate.

since motorola uses linux os
the linux is much powerful but not fully compatible with nokia than symbian
it uses more processor badwidth .that's why motorola uses high power processor . the processor sometimes gets floated by instructions and the mobile restarts showing whte screen

For comparison,The highest processors in Nokia is 369 mhz in Nokia E51,N81,N82,N95 and E90.Don't know exactly on Sony Ericsson as I know SE's UIQ series only have 208 mhz processors. But in Xperia X1 will have 520 mhz processors. The highest processors in Moto is Z6 with 624 mhz.Moto always leads in terms of processors speed.V8 and V9 also have 500 mhz processors speed.

I reckon Wi-fi is a must have for gadgets today. I have wi-fi on my n82 and uses it all the time. Sure its not totally practical for browsing, but with installed applications like mobitubia u can just bust out the phone in the lounge when you are not near a desk and watch youtube. There is wifi hot spots everywhere now, at university I can sit in the atrium and check my e-mails for free instead of having to carry a laptop around. Its just pure convenience

Yeah, Wi-Fi is even nearly impractical on most portable gadgets. I even used it on my PSP and it sucked its battery dry in 2 hours flat. What more on a cellphone? An hour? Please, people just by phones for their "extras" rather than their core functionjs nowadays...jeez...

to devGOD...wi-fi is weak in mobile fones and haammmerrs the battery..i used it once in nokia n80 on my home network and battery flat from full charge in 90 minutes..
If you use wifi at home surely you would use your computer instead of mobile ?? then people argue they use it when out but there are limited hotspots and they charge £5 an hour its better to pay £2.50 more and get a eat all you can tariff using gprs,3g or more rarer hsdpa.Plus you wont surf much as your battery will run out quick,,so yes wi-fi just a "must have that"app just to show off really

This phone has 500mhz processors which makes it to be the fastest among Nokias and SE.also,Linux OS is known to be more stable than any others.Wi-fi is useless in my country.so,I think this phone should be a good choice for a music freak.

Ya , Really dun understand y ppl complain so much abt wifi. it jus help u consume more power when using it, in the end u cant even make call or listen to MP3.
Must well sign up for unlimited GPRS usage.
And using GPRS is much convenient than using WIFI.
