I sell phones for... moreJust curious exactly what are the problems that caused your customers to return 100% of their E8's? Can you elaborate?
The phone was released in May in Hong Kong, and I've never heard of anyone has any problem which makes them to return any unit at all...including myself, as I bought mine (for my wife) in May.
Or else, where did you source your phones from? Directly from Moto or someone else? If latter, maybe parts / accessories got exchanged without your knowledge.
Or else, tell me where your shop is so I can try a "bad" E8...

I sell phones for a living so my opinions are based on personal experience and this phone has a 100% return rate in my store and just like my ex they are extremely hard to get rid of.

It was only a few days ago that I mentioned that I'll be getting the E8 and I was having V8 then. I got it about 10 hours ago and since you asked about the sound quality difference, I can give you my view (personal view).
Overall sound quality, E8's better (I'm still having my V8 as I'm typing right now). I played the same song in both phones to analyze the difference - E8's really good. They must be compared by playing the same song one after another otherwise it's difficult to see the difference. That's why some people will say E8's better or they are the same. Before getting the E8, I found V8's sound quality is already good enough for me so I'm not expecting much from E8. After the first few hours playing with it, I prefer to only adjust the bass (level 5) & 3D Stereo (level 7) to my satisfaction instead of equalizer adjustment and my V8 was also adjusted to my taste at the bass and Spatial Width. E8's hands down winner. You should try the sound quality FIRST from the back external speaker to feel the quality, THEN try playing the same song and listen from the E8's bundled wired earphone and believe me; you'll compliment yourself for choosing this phone. It's that good!! Now, the bundled earphone is not considered a top quality unit yet the sound quality is excellent, so you can imagine what would the E8 sounds like if you get a good set of branded earphone instead?
kenakaren, I was not able to answer you the other day but now I can proudly provide you with the answer from my own personal experience. If you want a good music phone, go get the E8, you won't regret it.

Andy, 07 Sep 2008URE mum is a tranny......6300 is great phone....ure mom lov... morehave your e8 arrived yet Andy, so how was it in terms of sound quality compared to v8 honestly i preferred v8 sound quality which sound more rich while e8 sound more echoey though e8 music interface is far better...

1)The phone is being rebadged as N/SE/SM/LG...
2)Simply NEVER!
Suggest you go elsewhere like Mobile Review for more (objective) view of this phone.
