MUSIC: It has a good music player that you can use even when the phone is folded, but its loud speaker isn't that 'loud'. Using headphones is more enjoyable. Doesn't have radio. BATTERY: lasts 5 hours on standby, and half an hour playing music, games, surfing the Internet or making calls. CAMERA: As you zoom, the image size shrinks - in Nokia phones such as 6300 it doesn't. If you fold the phone with the camera turned on, you can see yourself in the tiny screen to take a picture. VIDEO: you can play both 3GP and MP4 as long as they have a 176x220 resolution. You can set the video camera to record as much as your memory card can save. MEMORY CARD: not much to say here, 2GB is a decent maximum. INTERNET: I'm posting this from my computer, using my Motorola W5 as a modem. Yes, you just need Motorola Phone Tools installed on your Windows PC and a USB cable. GPRS connection is slow, but fast enough to see most web pages, check your mail and social networks, download lightweight files, etc. The best mobile browser to use on this phone is Opera Mini, but UC Lite and Bolt Lite also work if you want to give them a go (the latter is the one that works the slowest). JAVA: Doesn't allow access to the file system, for example you can't use Opera Mini's download manager because applications are not allowed to write on the disks.

This was my last phone, and I had it for 3 years. It froze sometimes, in a way that the only solution to bring it back was removing and inserting again the battery. But that didn't happen that frequently. Let's say, not more than 10 times during all the time I used it as my main mobile phone. Besides that, my only complain is that the video recording could have a bigger time limit. For all the rest it can do, it performed very well.

This phone is a real piece of junk. Really. It's all full of bugs. It's impossible, for example, to transfer files to it (using it as a mass storage device). It simply freezes and corrupts all data in the memory card.
Also, the music player has a constant background noise, like a radio with bad reception (a noise that "follows" the sound - i'm not sure you can understand what I mean, but I hope you do). And Motorola has a very stupid policy of not allowing any firmware update after the warranty period ends.
This phone can make you very angry. It's almost a brick, since one can't enjoy most of its features.

"Anonymous", although your question is old I anyway reply to it.
The memory slot is on the back, just next to the battery. You have to open the battery cover.
