This phone is rubbish. I've had to have three because they kept breaking and my insurance wouldn't allow me to change. You can't hear the ringtone when it's in your pocket Text messaging is useless and how many menu's do you have to go through before you can do anything. Can't wait to upgrade again so I can go back to the Finnish Masters Nokia. Motorola your dreadful. Goodbye MOTO

this phone is great...althought not prefect....
but for the price it's well worth it...
btw is the a diff between a Brew-enabled t720 and a j2me-enabled t720????

Hi,
I own a motorola t720 which is supposed to be dual band GSM 900/1800 however I have both band network providers in jamaica where I live ....that is DIGICEL for 900 & CABLE & WIRELESS for 1800.
I am already a post paid customer with Digicel but when I put my simm in the phone it reconizes the network but I'm not allowed 2 make or receive any calls
when I stick a Cable & Wireless sim in it, it works beautifully how can this be corrected

this phone is stylish one, but navigation takes time. you will have to push many button and through many converstion windows before you can send sms.

I really like it. Its the first new gadget to impress me of late. However the greatest fault is that there appears to be three flavors, CDMA, GSM 900/1800 and GSM 850/1900, with little deliniation on any website.
