I had one about the 2000-2001 era
Battery was failing and i found it was 3 cells the length of a AA but the diameter of a AAA titled the AAA(long)
Work had these electric clips about that could be fashioned to make up the gap. One of the bosses found out and had me do the same for his V2288

Bought it as my first phone in 2001, working until this day and battery is still last longer than my smartphone. Missing antenna, but signal is still OK.

my very first phone ever! huhuhu...
it was followed by v550, then razr and now a droid razr...im just too impressed by moto's quality and line. and i have discerning taste and style thats why i always choose moto...lol

This was the first phone a had, I remember i was writting messages, it was a standard phone. I had a problem because the battery wasn't good, i allways had to recharge phone in every hour.
All in all, a memory phone..:)
