the phone will be release when the other competitor release their phones which are equavilent with V-1000.....if you see Sony release s700 i think Motorola will also release v-1000 too because they don't wanna loose the market...

v-1000 has 1.2 Mpix camera....but Sony-ericsson will counter attack with their s700, 1.3 mpix camera (8x Zoom)and it is swivel type of phone....WOW!!!

i think V-1000 will be top three best clam-shell phone early next year but we also need to look at the sony-ericson heard that they gonna release the 1.3 M.pix camera phone and Nokias which will improve its camera in higher series...

sorry 2 disapoint all the ppl here... but the fone is not due to 2005... it's announce in 2004.. but it'll take a year like all other motorola fones (v600) to sit and be smashed by the competition... *cough* *v600*...
