To the fool that reckons the speed on this phone is slow, please read its specs, it's WCDMA, and it's a 3G network thank you very much, and EDGE can barely work in US anyway... If you don't think it's capable of streaming back TV then u must have been stuck under a rock...

Sorry Motorola, You've waited too long bring the V100 into the market and now I have changed my mind, i will buy Nokia 6689 UMTS coming soon. I think most consumers will do the same. We've waited for this phantom V1000 for too long. Other competitors like Sony-Ericsson with the Z800 is also coming soon. Good luck guys!

Does ANYONE know the exact release date of the Motorola V1000 is the United States? Everyone says early 2005, but when? Will Cingular be one of the providers of the phone? PLEASE let me know guys!

by the time it was anounced it was by far the greatest phone around, today is a decent phone(there allreafy are SEV800 and sharp 902) are they going to actually lunch it this millenium?

There's nothing about this thing being able to watching TV on this piece of ****. I'd be surprised to see if this thing would work properly first (phone function, camera, etc.) before talking about viewing TV on this thing! Maybe connecting via GRPS or soemthing it may be possible, but the network is way to slow in the US (GSM) unless you have EDGE in your area. The data speed is too slow for TV viewing, not like W-CDMA in Japan!

I will never trust motorola as long as I live. I've sold so many motorola and so many defective returns... never trust motorola.
