I have had this phone for more than a year now and haven't had any problems with it. The on & off switching is new to me and I haven't heard of any one that this happned to. Maybe they just got a bad batch, I have seen numerous people haveing this problem with Nokia, models ranging from 3310 to 6230. I'm going to upgrade to a E398 now but if anyone has a Question about the V300 pls e-mail me.
Oh the dust on the lens can be easly removed by a q-tip.

KATE~
I just got my phone yesterday and NO i have never had that problem so far. I hope i dont though. cuz if i do, i sure am going to get a replacement if i were you. Try taking the SIM out and wait a few minutes. If it still does it, then it must be a software problem. Good luck.

Hi, Ive only had my v300 for a few days but there is a problem, my phone charged fully the first time, and then the second time it was working fine too, after I plugged it in to charge I played with it a little and it was working. I went out and left the phone on charge, a few hours later I came back and the front screen was on, but blank, I opened the phone and tried to switch it on, it won't come on at all and makes no sound. I may try taking out the sim and battery and see if this 're-sets' it, does anyone else have this problem?

This phone is dreadful. Motorola have some serious errors with the software. Most common problem is that phone switches off for no reason, even with full battery. wouldnt recommend any one to buy one !!!!

i Havent Yet purchased the phone but i intend to because off the great reviews i read online. I must say I did get worried because a few of them were not so promising. They were talking about the phone shutting on and off on its own.Other then that it sounds pretty good. I haven't bought it yet but im pretty sure its and awesome phone! :)

I bought my V300 when I visit Europe recently. The problem is, some of the phone's features are locked to T-Mobile's operator system. I am from Malaysia and there isn't any option for me to change the settings to suit to a local telco. Besides calls & sms, I can't access any of the Wap, GPRS & MMS service. Is there any whiz out there that can help me solve the problem ? Thanks a million.
