Hi, i've bought a v3x for few weeks. Display is excellent, camera is good, and the battery can last me for 2 to 3 full days.
However, i've a little problem. The charger charges my phone thru the mini USB port. But when charging is completed and the cable removed, at times, the phone lost hold of my media card .. i.e. i can't access my card, and the wallpaper, ringtones, etc were all reverted back to the default. I've to power off and on back my phone to get back access to my media card.
Any solution for this ?
Thanks.

After finding a decent manual online I have sorted the "Argentina" prob but am still not happy about having to set it to advise me when a text I send is received every time.

Sorry m8 but it won't even let me enter a new word. My old LG would "sense" a new word and offer to let you spell it out, this tat doesn't. And what about the "text received" option? If you don't use it, ok, but I found it helpful and miss it as I can't be ass'ed to keep applying it to every text. V3x for 50p anyone? No, sorry I would be robbing you.

Paula, I just checked on my RAZR and there is no problem with Argentina (or any other word I needed so far). Texting oon Motorola may be a bit different than on Nokia but it's equaly fast. The iTAP has many usefull features that give you flexibility. And it automatically remembers any new word you used.

Paula, DON'T!
It is by far the worst mobile I have ever had!
Ask someone to let you try to text from it before you buy one and try to write a word not in it's memory. Mine would not let me text the word Argentina to enter a competition.
My previous mobiles allowed me to receive a confirmation when a text I sent was received but it has to be set EVERY time you send a text on this piece of absolute GARBAGE!.
I'm putting this load of tat on Ebay soon but I sincerely advise you not to bid for it.

What a great mobile phone! My best so far.
Pluses****
Sleek, sexy shape- clam shell works well!
G3 operation fast and easy.
Voice activated dial-up and commands the best I have used.
Well put together - solid.
Screen res and operation easy.
MP3 headphones connect through USB port - standard with phone in SA.
Battery life good.
Minuses----
Too many demo games loaded - any idea how to remove.
Instruction logic hard to understand compared to other Motorola products.
Bes sure to remove PC connector after use- it will drain your battery and appear to be charging!

Watch the phonebook - inserts phantom dob 254-255-78, freezes entries at random, also some joker in Nottingham can send you a browser virus which freezes the whole contacts list and needs a master clear to resolve.
