Probably most enjoyable phone, flip, reassuring heavy weight in the pocket / metal feel, first phone I managed to hack with custom text outer display, louder volume etc.
Only bad point was paint flaking off the keyboard (would still use if not for that).

I had this phone for roughly six months, but back then I had no real experience of phones, so i really liked this one. It did everything I needed it to do, call people, text, pictures. Unfortunately it is discontinued, but if it wasn't I would definatly think about getting it again.

Some has complain about the low sound at phone calls in the v620. The reason to this, could be that, that the software inside are not the same as the v600, but are similar to the model between the V600 and V620 called E398. This model has some of the same problems with the sound volume on phone calls. The little differentses between E398 and V620, is V620 can record videos and have a better display and ask
yes or no if you wants to erease messages or pictures and others. :-)

It's fun to read the most of the post in here. Some are asking, why the v600 only can hold up to 25 messages. It's because that they are not saved in the phone memory, but on the sim card. The shorter they are, the more can be saved. The later V620 are saving the texts in the memory and can hold up to 100 depening on the lenght and how many sendt in the outbox who are saved here. You can get the phone to erase the outbox automaticly and how long they are kept before erasing them. It's a great phone indeed. :-)

Alice, 25 Feb 2007I've had this phone for 2 years now, so obviously it's not ... moreThe reason why it only can have 25 pieces of texts, is because they are not saved in the phone memory, but on your sim card. Some sim card on the time, can contain up to
35.

I had this phone given to me in February this year, and had it until I upgraded to a Nokia E65 in June. Being almost 3 years old when I got it, it wasn't in great condition but it still worked well. The camera was ok, but mine had a dead pixel... I had problems with the charger, it had to be sitting at the right angle (usually propped up by sitting something underneath the cord, with the phone on a flat surface) before it would charge. The charging time was too long, my old Nokia(6220)took about 1.5 hrs, the V600 taking almost twice that. The battery life was also disappointing, about 3 days with low-medium use, about half that of my old Nokia.
When writing SMS's, the phone is slow to respond and while typing with the iTAP (predictive) text, the phone could not keep up with what I typed.
*Someone wrote about issues with changing SMS tones, and when they tried to go into the Loud settings it just returned to the previous screen... TRY IT while its charging, mine had the same issue when it was given to me. I did it when it charged, and no problem.*
The internal memory is not big enough, and the phone would have benefited from an expandable memory slot. But still, this is a well equipped phone, and if you can deal with the unintuitive Motorola UI, its a good phone.

This is an awesome phone. There's just 2 things that aren't so good. - The *locked* files take up way too much room, and it doesn't have a Video Camera. This phone is still a very good phone, but I don't see the point of it being able to play MP3's when you can't even fit a 4:00 song on there.
