Simon you're totally right. Have mine v80 up for 8 months and still nothing wrong. All the writings of fell off joysticks etc. are fables. The v80 is a good phone when you handle it well.

ive had my v80 for about 6 months now, and i carnt fault it. My bluetooth dongle syncs with my pc just fine. I can watch videos and listen to music with out any problems. To the people who had problems with thiers i suggest you look after your phones better and they might work.

This phone sucks. Don't purchase this phone, my friend has a v551 that's much better.

really bad phone....stay away...had it for a week and already the joystick isnt working...the rubber cover surrounding the joystick ripped off....it freezes at least once a day....and i'm not even a serious phone user!!!! i repeat stay away

I like the phone and the style, but one flaw, not sure if it's my Mac's software or the V80's, but they can't sync together and I can't access the phones pictures either from the mac... But the bluetooth earpiece works finel... So I"m kinda wondering which is it.. All my other bluetooth phones have no problem with the mac...

I am considering getting the V80.I think it's awesome and has some pretty nifty features.A few things do however concern me.That is the problem ppl seem to have with the joystick and the swivel which loses it's smoothness.Is the joystick REALLY such a big problem as ppl claim it is,does it freeze for nothing and does the swivel really loose its smooth rotation???I really like this phone,but don't wanna waste getting it if it has all these problems.
Your assistance would be greatly appreciated ^-^

I had it for 6 months now. Joystick fell off,poor camera,slow software,no video but my 2 year old son drops it almost every day and "plays" with it and still works great !

ok i have goten my motorola v80 back from the repair center. the swivel mechanism is now loose,the bottom part of the phone is loose and it looks like one of the techs dropped it caus ethere is a gash in the bottom part of the phone. motorola is the crappiest phone manufacturer i have ever known. Motorola you suck!!!

hey you people can find an English manual if you go to hellomoto.com and select the United Kingdom in the country region box. From there go to site map and you will see a section for user manuals select v80 and whala you have a manual

Had my v80 for about a week and the screen started freezing and doing weird things,very poor software. sent to motorola for repair and it has taken them over 1 month to fix it. this is my first and last motorola phone. Stay away from this one unless you want problems.

StarTac was the best ever... When Motorola started making the "fashion phones" that's when ALL the motorola phones started having dropped calls or no reception (while my buddies' nokia and samsung phones had reception) and battery problems. uggh..

ive been reading other opinions and people say that that the joystick for this fone falls off plus they say they hav either droped it once or twice well if i drop my fone once or twice my fone will also freeze and the joystick will also fall off al this fone need is care because its very sensitive

I just got the phone today, and im still trying to figure it out. The person who sold us the phone gave us an instruction manual in spanish...so ive been trieing to set up the video recorder thing and I just cant figure it out. Can someone please help. Thanks. Email: jessicalauren_06@yahoo.com

I think its a great phone. I have had the phone for about 9 months and never had any thing wrong with it.
The only thing i would like changed on it is i'd like video recording aswell as taking pictures.
The rythm lights are the best thing about it and that im able to download games to it. In all the best phone ive ever owned.
