TO IKEMI
I'm confused between getting a v600 and v80 they both look like great phones. I've always had nokia's and having doubts about getting a moto cause i had a v66 a while ago gave it 2 the missus could'nt stand it but like i said it was a while ago i've seen the v80 it look's like a cool phone what is the battery like on it? Is it easy to send txts as a nokia? can u answer calls with the phone not rotated? Or with u say the v600 is a better phone.

    Hi
All of you who have the phone... How is your evaluation on the memory?? Quite concerned about the fact that it only has 5 shared memory, and no expansion slot... And when even if u have just one mp3 ringtone on the phone at the time, u will still use over half memory... :/

I have had the v80 for 2 weeks and I have had a major issue with it unlocking when closed after an sms is received or if you miss a call. The external buttons on the phone are easily knocked in your bag once unlocked. So far my phone has managed to reply to 6 sms messages and delete an entry from my phone book. No response from Motorola on this one and Orange couldn't help either. Any one else experiencing this problem? (Check your outbox!).

Hello all, I have the v80 and i dont like the fact that i had to configure the wap browser myself ,but thats the price you pay when you want a phone that is over priced( so they throw in a headset) and isnt available in your ountry yet. I also have the v600 its great the bluetooth headset also works with that phone. can anyoone help me configure the aim settings? otherwise the phone is great, but im just waiting for the messaiah of text messaging phones (a630) now that i think about it, will i have the same problems with that phone??????

can U please tell me about a construction of the v80, I heard stories and saw the pictures of joystick got broken ..and how long the opening mechanis will last? I had samsung sgh 300 and I had I problem with flat cable (because it is clamshell).I am planning to buy v80 but I am little bit frightened how long it will last.

I'm just wondering if anyone has bought this on vodafone in the UK, if it has been Vodafone branded on it like most of the companies used to do.

To Ikemi, just wondering, do you have a clip of what the MP3 ringtone sounds like on the V80 as I plan to get one.

sup, I got T-mobile, it works great but i gues the data features like email and sending pictures is locked because its made for a different country. I spent hours on the phone with T-mobile tech going through the settings and motorolla won't help because I'm not supposed to have it here in usa yet. So I'm not sure how to unlock those features or should i say set them up. but the phone is great. great service and text mess. works. mabe someone will soon help me figure out how to set up the picture sending. still waiting for someone on here to learn me.

                      have a good one bro

I think someone will have to say somethin phenomenal for me to get this phone now, theres just to many bad questions being asked like, whats the deal with the bluetooth, the transfer of data, the video clips, the list goes on man, im being pushed, no, shoved in the direction of the K700i.

I canot send pics to myself or others. also i cannot receive pics either. i can send and receive text messages though. I have this phone and in usa there is no support so no one can help me. I have all the settings from my service provider but nobody knows where they go and how to initialize the pic sending service.

Does someone know how to download game for this machine? Both form .jad and .jar won't work. And is there some programme for recording video clips? Like on Nokia & SonyErricson.

I got a V80 10 days ago and I need to know if anyone who has had a V80 for a while has had any problems with the rotating screen? I need to know how strong it is.Some duffus that was looking at the phone tried to force it closed in the wrong direction and now the screen section feels a bit loose. Another thing is how good is the battery life?
