In response - There is a better phone on e the Motorola e1000 but the v975 is a vast improvement of some of the earlier 3 nec models

Bulky,heavy,v poor "predictive" text;no audible indication of call connection;cameras have V poor spec,too easy to switch on in ones pocket.
Continually miss calls/texts-ringer loud but easily muffled. Screen and keypad clear,fliptop good.
Only 13 months to go...,then bye,bye.

signed up to 18 month contract with 3
the battery is very bad charge req av every 48hrs.
will definetely not have next time

i thinkthis is the best in its league especaly wiht 3 only one phon can stand it s mighty power and that the sony ericsson k500 but it gets blown away ith any one can say a phon that is beter than this please tell me cos i cant think of one come on 3 and motorola

I agree with most comments made here; the battery life is terrible; you would need to charge it everyday. I don't understand why Moto would produce such a short-life battery for a cell that has 3G function. The picture and the video quality is just so, below average. Other than these drawbacks, this phone has very sleek design, feels solid and comes with many features. If you come for the look, this is the one. But for practical use, buy a spare battery.

This is a very sexy phone. It is the best cellular phone I have ever laid my hands on. User friendly and very effective. There are many options when using this sleek cell.

I find when you get an email message and you reply to it or when you send a message, when you press the send button. You can some times loose the whole message and the screen goes back to your main screen, like. You have to rewrite your reply again.
Is there a car kit for this phone?

Ive had this phone a few months now. The camera is really good and the main menus are easy to use. I dont find the weight or antenna a problem. The only problem is 3 in my area dont have good coverage so i get crap signals. Just got the NEC411i and im now using that as my main phone :)

the phone is ok but there is no bluetooth and does anyone know how to expand the memory with out a card. and how much do cards roughly cost.

Lovely phone except for the weight and antenna. Sometime while playing mp4 file, the screen would get stuck and it would be nice if motorola provide a stereo headset rather than the mono headset.

V975 is actually a good phone for incoming and outgoing. this phone does not really have a good battery life as when you save to much information, it lose battery faster , the funny thing is when you remove all the unnessecary information like the video you record all the picture you took the battery somehow increases. I call motorola and check wqith them and they said they need energy to save the information that is why some say this phone loses battery to fast. No bluetooth never mind, reason being motorola gave a sync cable so as to transfer data to the computer.

i have the motorola v975, its an ok fone sayin that i got it 4 free! anyway, the video on it is pants but the camera is ok abit dark but ok! its nice looking and mine broke when i made calls on it!
