I got this phone for 1 week, and immideatly the screen was broken by a little drop on my sofa. - The whole screen went black; so I can't read. There's no quaranty at all with screen errors. So a big waste of my money.

There NO InfraRed or Bluetooth on this phone. And there's alot of Vodaphone sh*t on it. The only good thing of this phone is the usb slot for mini SD. But with a broken screen even the mp3 player is not nice...

Think twice before buying this phone.
A little soft bump against it, shouldn't break the whole phone...

This phone is great, my mp3 works fine so does my mpeg-4 videos. The only thing that has been a pain is the LCD internal screen every so often shows lines across the screen. This seems to be a problem in a high porcentage of V980s, hope it doesnt get worse!!! If you[re going to buy this phone better take a look at it twice, Id recommend better the V3i.

Well... I do everse engineering for a living... this device hardware is really impressive but the SOFTWARE SUCKS BIG TIME!. as most of the newest motorola phones. the software does not playback good MP3s over 128K - not as ringtones or mp3 player so you better off with good quality politones, the mp4 also sucks since the microSD controllers dont work too good on the data transmission and YES PEOPLE, the phone DOES turn off itself, I managed to see why... the main reason is power administration and motorola made the mistake of releasing the phone withthe bluetooth software still in the programming (you wont see it in menu) and so much more so my advice... DONT BUY THIS PHONE - get yourself a very reliable e398 or e1000... I got more too say but I might get an email from Motorola trying to press charges against me...lol...

Be aware of the negative comments here - the phone is very buggy. First handset took to turning itself off in mid conversation or web surfing, second handset no longer played ring tones or mp3's (after one week of fairly light use this wasn't good). Just waiting to see how handset number 3 will fail. Oh, and the battery is a joke.

                                    Buy Nokia instead.
