Hi! anyone know's wy dosen't the alarm start's when the phone is turned of? it only works when the phoe is on... is this a software problem?
I think it's a nice phone, but it could be mutch better with bluetooth and a long life batery.

To install java apps on this phone directly you need a special developers version. Check out www.motocoder.com/

First of all there no larger memory card slot.... just the uber small t-flash card ... the big "memory card" you got in the box is just an adapter to allow the t-flash to be read in SD card readers.
I've had one biggish problem which has all ready been decribed vague.
It's basically involves "zooming" the image, say a VGA photo, to it original size ( for actualy see'ing how your pics came out ) ... when I tried this on 2 handsets both results where the same ... a blurred pixelated mess... when panning around the "image" eheh.. the screen would often go black... then sometime a image fitted to screen would display ... then back to blurred mass of pixes ... eventually ... you recieve a "File is to large" error ... and as previously stated all images stored on the phone are reported as corrupt ( though there not ) and the camera function stops working ... only way to solve is to switch phone on and of again.... all in all A nice phone, with nice features but SHITE software.

Nice phone and plenty of features. A couple of problems though: some of teh buttons mysteriously stopped working after a couple of months, and I'd been GENTLE with the phone. Plus, it does tend to drop calls, even in full coverage. It also seems ludicrously susceiptible to moisture, as the button problem I mentioned before has been attributed to moisture, even though I keep it safe and dry. What a pain: since they conveniently dont cover moisture damage under the warranty. Stay away from Motorola. Pricks.

My first Moto was a c350,a simple phone, no problems with that. Second was a v525, and i said ,that IS A Phone.Still no problems with that either.20 days ago i had in my hands the c980... only for a day and a half because it didnt recocnise the image files and coudnt open the camera for taking photos n videos.I sendit for service and waited 2 weeks.Last friday i took it back only to sendit to service the next morning because the screen was fliking and trempling at incoming-outgoing calls and msgs by the signal of the gsm network.Imagine me making a 3G call!!!i m still waiting for it! the catch? they use the same boards to the v980. I still have my good Alcatel 1 tats Rocket on. and my Nokia is off batts.
