I just got this phone yesterday. I love it. But why is the screen so loose? And I cant seem to go online with it. But nonetheless, this phone is the best. simple and cute.

there is no mp3 ring tone in these mob. and its battery is loose even on touch power is getting cut off

Hi Haydee!!!
To connect w220 to pc you need UST5DU3.2 That is Ultra Super Thin 5th Dimensional Usb 3.2...
... U cannot connect this to PC, there is no Infra Red, Bluetooth, Serial or USB connectivity for this phone. If you want to send something, the only option is to use GPRS (WAP) and some free site like:
http://euploader.com - there you can upload a file from your PC, you will be given ID and 4 digin passkey, in your w220 Web Browser GoTo euploader.com enter 4 digit ID and 4 digit passkey, and voila you can download the file you have just uploaded. :)

Got this phone few days back and its really awsome and very affordable. i tried to sign in to my hotmail and the page sort of dint open up. does anyone know he wap version of hotmail.com? cant check my mails :(

It certanly lights up vhen you receive a call...i am talking about the ext display.it has 3 function.... incoming call, sms, low battery.

There's no speaker function and this is confirmed by Motorola. I wrote in to ask last year.

oh yeah btw, does anyone know if this has a speakerphone option or not? on some websites it says it has while here its not mentioned, kind of confused. Need a second set that has long battery life + speakerphone and no gimmics, got my p990 for that. so would this be a good choice?

hahah, thats one of the best posts ive ever read, peel off sticker. Why would any brand create a device thats 'faking' an external screen. what else do u expect than to get a response like the one lukas posted, serves u right. I havent laughed this hard for a while.

lol hhahah stupid lires the external display is real n proper.. its not a sticker i got this cell phone.. n it work fine.. its just a simple phone to call n send sms with little styling..

Yes it is just a peel-off sticker. Motorola is trying to cut on expenses so what they come up with is: when you get a message you peel off a message sticker stick it at the front, then close mobile and act surprised that you have received an sms, then you take off sticker and hide it in your pocket...

i wanted to ask a question about the external display of this cell... a friend of mine told me that it dosent have one.. rather this is just a sticker???... can any of the people who've used this fone, or own one tell me, does this have an external display..
(by external display i mean the battery display, and teh message display we see in teh pix)
